As your expertise develops, you will have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of structured finance activities across EMEA and contribute to strategic financing initiatives with wider business impact.\nHow you will do it\nPartner with Sales, Business Units and customers to identify financing opportunities and develop solutions that strengthen customer value propositions and support commercial objectives.\nSupport commercial teams by providing financing guidance, contributing to pipeline management and sharing your knowledge of available financing solutions.\nPerform customer due diligence, financial analysis and credit assessments in partnership with Global Credit.\nSupport the structuring and pricing of financing solutions and prepare financing proposals, approval materials and transaction documentation.\nCoordinate transaction execution across multiple stakeholders, including Sales, Legal, Tax, Accounting, Global Credit, customers and external financing partners.\nMonitor the performance of the financing portfolio, including covenant compliance, financial performance and emerging portfolio risks.\nSupport ongoing servicing activities, receivables assignments, portfolio reporting and operational follow-through.\nEnsure transactions are managed in line with internal policies, governance requirements, approval processes and control frameworks.\nContribute to process improvements, management reporting and strategic funding initiatives.\nBuild effective relationships across regional and global teams, using your financial expertise and commercial mindset to help move opportunities from initial concept through execution.\nWhat we look for\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.\nSolid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and cash flow analysis.\nFamiliarity with financing concepts such as loan amortization, repayment structures, transaction pricing, and portfolio monitoring.\nWorking knowledge of lending, leasing, receivables financing, or related corporate finance areas.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess financial information and communicate conclusions clearly.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nCollaborative mindset, comfortable building relationships across functions, cultures, and geographies.\nProactive and detail-oriented, with the confidence to take initiative and work independently.\nCommercial awareness paired with a disciplined approach to risk and governance.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.\nFluent English, with strong communication skills in an international business environment.\nPreferred\nExperience in structured finance, corporate lending, leasing, captive finance, receivables finance, project finance, transaction advisory, or treasury.\nBackground in a multinational organization, bank, leasing company, captive finance organization, or professional services firm.\nMaster's degree, MBA, or relevant professional finance/accounting qualification.\nExperience with financing, leasing, or loan management systems (Odessa experience is a plus).\nFamiliarity with external credit information providers such as Dun & Bradstreet.\nStrong digital skills, with experience using finance systems, workflow tools, or reporting platforms.\nAdditional European language skills, particularly French or Spanish.\nAbout Us\nJohnson Controls, a global leader in thermal management, mission-critical building systems, energy efficiency, and decarbonization, helps customers use energy more productively, reduce carbon emissions, and operate with the precision and resilience required in rapidly expanding industries such as data centers, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, advanced manufacturing, and higher education.\nFor more than 140 years, Johnson Controls has delivered performance where it really matters.
