You will balance customer commitments, technician availability, and branch priorities while communicating clearly across customers, field teams, and management.\nKey Responsibilities\nSchedule and optimize service work to ensure customer commitments are met regarding service delivery.\nUse Oracle (ACE) automated scheduler functionality to assign service calls to the optimal technician.\nMatch work to the right technician based on skills, territories, customer preferred technician when applicable, availability, service contract response time, criticality of the call, and proximity to the customer.\nCommunicate with customers and personnel to resolve issues related to service repair scheduling.\nAlert management to potential problems resulting from customer or field complaints and support resolution efforts.\nMeasure branch activity and compliance with program initiatives, identify improvement areas, and support action plans with branch and region management.\nMonitor the effectiveness of actions taken and follow up with corrective steps as needed.\nPrioritize scheduling backorders, track customer issues, and reassign work to manage expectations based on current workloads and priorities.\nMonitor technician activity and schedules to help ensure customer commitments are met.\nCommunicate status changes to customers regarding early or late anticipated arrivals.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nHow You Will Do It\nOwn the schedule with accountability, safety, and integrityby keeping commitments visible and making disciplined decisions about service delivery.\nUse Oracle (ACE) automated scheduler functionalityto assign calls efficiently and support the best possible customer outcome.\nFocus on what mattersby prioritizing work based on workload, customer need, and service urgency rather than simply moving tasks forward.\nImprove every dayby measuring branch activity, identifying gaps, and working with management on practical corrective actions.\nWork closely with customers, technicians, and branch leaders to win as one team, resolve issues quickly, and keep communication clear when plans change.\nQualifications\n3-5 years of customer service experience.\nExcellent communication skills.\nStrong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience as a fleet scheduler or service coordinator.\nStrong Excel skills and comfort working with Microsoft Office tools.\nMust be a resident citizen of the United States to qualify for this position.\nNice to Have\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree.\nExperience working in a SimplexGrinnell district or in a fast-paced work environment.\nExperience using ACE/Oracle systems.\nProduct knowledge of life safety equipment, including fire alarm and sprinkler systems.\nWhy Join Us\nThis role gives you the chance to play a direct part in keeping service commitments on track and supporting customers who depend on timely coordination.
