Backed by advanced technology, lifecycle services and an industry-leading field organization, we elevate customer performance, turn goals into real-world results and help move society forward.\nWhat you will do:\nPerform the required service and maintenance on fire extinguishers.\nResponsible for the organization, operation, and cleanliness of area of work.\nThis is a fixed location position with no travel required. \nHow you will do it:\nPerform required service and maintenance on fire extinguishers, including recharging, testing, completing six- and twelve-year maintenance work\nAccurately complete required reports and paperwork, inspection tags, etc. required for extinguisher service and maintenance records\nPerform routine/preventative maintenance on extinguisher shop test equipment\nMaintain a professional appearance and attitude while at work\nComplete required employment paperwork in a timely and professional manner (e.g., timecard)\nParticipate in periodic Johnson Controls business meetings and contribute to the growth and sustainability of Johnson Controls\nAbility to operate hand tools and lift/carry 50lbs.\nRepetitive motions including lifting, sliding and general production of fire extinguishers\nUtilize all minimum PPE required by Johnson Controls and specialized PPE as required for specific working situations.\nWhat we look for\nOne (1) year of experience with high-pressure hydrotesting systems and procedures.\nAbility to operate hand tools and lift and carry 50lbs.\nAbility to pass required licensing test (on job training provided)\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to pass a drug test, background check, and BMV check.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMust have a clean driving record.\nDriver's License (Required)\nRepetitive motions including lifting, sliding and general production of fire extinguishers.\nHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $20 - 26 Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
