The role serves as a technical leader for Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365 governance, security compliance, and emerging AI-powered workplace technologies.\nThis position partners with global engineering, operations, security, and business stakeholders to deliver a modern, secure, and productive digital workplace experience for employees worldwide. The engineer acts as the primary collaboration technical resource for APAC while supporting global initiatives and platform transformations.\nKey Responsibilities\nMicrosoft 365 Collaboration\nAdminister and support Microsoft Teams, Teams Phone, Teams Rooms, and related collaboration services.\nSupport collaboration platform migrations, consolidations, and modernization initiatives.\nPartner with operations teams to resolve escalated collaboration issues.\nMaintain service health, operational excellence, and user satisfaction.\nMessaging & Exchange Online\nAdminister Exchange Online mail flow, transport rules, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, and messaging policies.\nSupport email security initiatives including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.\nDrive mailbox lifecycle management, retention, and archiving strategies.\nAssist with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures involving messaging services.\nSecurity & Governance\nImplement and maintain Microsoft Purview compliance and retention controls.\nSupport data classification, information protection, and governance initiatives.\nPartner with Cyber Security teams on messaging and collaboration security controls.\nEnsure compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.\nAI & Digital Workplace Enablement\nSupport Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption and readiness activities.\nAssist in AI governance and platform enablement initiatives.\nIdentify automation opportunities using Power Automate and Microsoft 365 services.\nDevelop end-user guidance, training, and adoption materials.\nPlatform Engineering & Continuous Improvement\nParticipate in roadmap planning and Microsoft service change management.\nEvaluate new Microsoft capabilities and recommend adoption strategies.\nDevelop automation scripts and operational efficiencies.\nContribute to global standards, architecture reviews, and service improvements.\nAPAC Regional Leadership\nServe as the primary collaboration engineering contact for APAC stakeholders.\nCoordinate support activities across regional and global teams.\nProvide technical leadership during incidents and major platform changes.\nSupport executive communications and business-critical collaboration initiatives.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.\nExperience\n5+ years supporting Microsoft 365 collaboration and messaging platforms.\n3+ years administering Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams.\nExperience
