The Training & HPT Specialist supports the manufacturing operations organization by gathering, consolidating, analyzing, and reporting on core metrics, KPIs, and operational targets. This role helps build team capability through effective training programs, onboarding support, and skill development initiatives that improve day-to-day execution on the floor.

What will you do?

• Gather, consolidate, analyze, and report core metrics, KPIs, and other operational targets for manufacturing operations.
• Support the design, implementation, and sustainment of training programs for hourly and administrative personnel.
• Help build and maintain onboarding systems that set new team members up for success.
• Develop and follow skill assessment plans that identify gaps and support targeted development actions.
• Partner with operations, leadership, and other functions to identify training needs and remove barriers to skill development.
• Update HPT processes, procedures, and scorecards to support consistent execution and continuous improvement.
• Deliver training and support team-building, accountability, safety, and open communication across the organization.
• Monitor training effectiveness and share insights that help improve productivity, capability, and operational performance.

How will you do it?

• You will stay close to the work by partnering with supervisors, operators, and cross-functional teams to understand real training needs, skill gaps, and operational priorities.
• You will own outcomes with accountability, safety, and integrity by keeping training records, KPI reporting, and follow-up actions accurate, timely, and actionable.
• You will focus on what matters by helping remove barriers to skill development and making sure teams have the support they need to succeed.
• You will improve every day by using feedback, data, and skill assessments to refine onboarding, classroom training, and on-the-job training.
• You will win as one team by building trust across functions, encouraging open communication, and aligning stakeholders around shared goals.
• Use practical, consistent methods so people can learn quickly and apply new skills confidently in the manufacturing environment.

What are we looking for?

• University degree and 1 year of suggested minimum experience, or a 2-year degree and 6 years of suggested minimum experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient knowledge of training methodologies and tools, including classroom training and on-the-job training.
• Experience gathering, consolidating, analyzing, and reporting operational metrics, KPIs, or similar performance data.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear actions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Ability to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English and familiarity with global training standards and practices.

Nice to Have

• Professional certifications in Training & Development, Lean Manufacturing, or Coaching.
• Experience with High Performance Work Team systems, onboarding systems, or skill assessment plans in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience supporting scorecards, continuous improvement activities, or trainer development programs.
