Reporting directly to the CHRO, you'll lead the global teams responsible for HR Operations, Colleague Experience, Employee & Labor Relations, and HR Technology, helping create an HR organization that is simpler, faster, more data-driven, and better positioned to support our growth.\nThis is a rare opportunity to build an HR operating model that creates capacity, accelerates execution, and helps one of the world's leading industrial technology companies move faster with greater impact.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead global HR operations, payroll, colleague experience, HR technology, employee and labor relations, and HR policy governance.\nDrive a multi-year transformation agenda focused on simplification, standardization, responsible AI, self-service, and automation.\nImprove service quality, operational efficiency, compliance, and colleague experience across a global workforce.\nLead the evolution of Workday, ServiceNow, and digital HR capabilities to deliver measurable business value.\nPartner closely with Finance, Technology, Legal, Global Business Services, and regional HR leaders.\nOwn the enterprise HR budget, operating performance, and continuous improvement priorities.\nCoordinate key priorities and execution across the CHRO office and HR leadership team.\nDevelop and mentor a team of senior global HR leaders while strengthening succession and organizational capability.\nWhat We're Looking For\nSignificant leadership experience in global HR operations, shared services, or HR transformation environments.\nProven success leading large-scale HR operating model and service delivery transformation.\nExperience overseeing global payroll, HR technology, and employee services at enterprise scale.\nDeep understanding of Workday, digital HR solutions, automation, analytics, and emerging AI capabilities.\nStrong employee and labor relations leadership across multiple geographies and regulatory environments.\nExperience partnering with Finance to manage budgets, investments, and measurable business outcomes.\nDemonstrated success leading senior leaders and driving results across complex matrix organizations.\nLean, continuous improvement, or operational excellence experience strongly preferred.\nExceptional executive presence, judgment, and stakeholder management skills.\nWhy Johnson Controls?\nLead one of the most important HR transformation agendas in the company.\nPartner directly with the CHRO and senior executive team.\nShape how more than 100,000 colleagues experience HR around the world.\nHelp build the people, systems, and capabilities that support the next era of Johnson Controls' growth.\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $284,000 - $444,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
