This role ensures materials are received, stored, picked, staged, and delivered to production lines accurately and on time while maintaining inventory integrity and supporting daily warehouse operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nMaterial Handling / Water Spider\nDeliver materials and components to production lines based on production schedules.\nStage and cage materials for upcoming jobs to ensure production readiness.\nPerform system transactions to record material movements.\nMaintain continuous material flow to minimize production downtime.\nMonitor inventory levels at point-of-use locations and replenish as needed.\nReceiving Material Handler\nUnload incoming materials and verify quantities against receiving documentation.\nTransport materials to designated storage locations.\nComplete put-away activities using warehouse inventory systems.\nEnsure proper labeling and storage of received materials.\nReceiving:\nProcess receiving paperwork and system transactions.\nVerify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation.\nInvestigate and report receiving discrepancies.\nCoordinate with purchasing, inventory control, and suppliers as needed.\nPrepare loose shipment materials for internal or external customers.\nVerify shipment contents for accuracy and completeness.\nPackage, label, and stage materials in accordance with company standards.\nComplete required shipping documentation and transactions.\nKanban Stocking\nReplenish Kanban locations for non-MRP materials.\nMonitor Kanban levels and trigger replenishment activities as required.\nEnsure materials are stocked accurately and organized for efficient access.\nSupport continuous flow and lean manufacturing initiatives.\nMaterial Picking\nPull materials required for production orders and work orders.\nVerify material quantities and part numbers before staging.\nBuild and organize pallets for production jobs.\nEnsure materials are available and ready according to production schedules.\nCycle Counting\nPerform scheduled cycle counts and inventory audits.\nResearch and reconcile inventory discrepancies.\nMaintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems.\nAssist with physical inventory activities as required.\nData Entry & Transaction Processing\nEnter and maintain inventory transactions in company systems.\nRecord material picks, transfers, receipts, and adjustments accurately.\nProcess goods transfer (GT) transactions and material movement records.\nGenerate and maintain warehouse reports and documentation.\nEnsure all inventory transactions are completed in a timely manner.\n\nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nPrevious warehouse, inventory, logistics, or manufacturing experience.\nBasic computer skills and experience with inventory systems.\nAbility to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (or ability to obtain certification).\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nPreferred\nExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar inventory management systems.\nPrevious experience with cycle counting and inventory control.\nKnowledge of Kanban, Lean Manufacturing, or Just-In-Time (JIT) principles.\nForklift certification.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift materials throughout the shift.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds independently.\nAbility to operate warehouse equipment safely.\nAbility to work in varying warehouse and manufacturing environments.\n\n HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $17.35 - $22.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
