Develop, evaluate, and improve the structure of the Warehouse/Receiving Department to provide our internal customers in production areas with an efficient and accurate delivery of materials.\nResponsible for managing, controlling, coordinating, and monitoring the day-to-day activities in the order fulfillment, receiving area, material handling, material storage and managing kitting process to deliver required materials to different production areas.\nHow will you do it\n Develop, maintain, and administer warehouse/receiving policies, operations procedures, work instructions that will produce on-time delivery, optimum customer service, and effective utilization of warehouse/receiving department personnel.\nOversee all activities related to order fulfillment including picking and delivery of parts to point of use. Ensure all orders are picked, packed, shipped and updated daily.\nEnsure that all stored material is organized and clearly identified.\nCoordinate weekly cycle counting requirements with the Inventory Control department and Finance Department. Investigate variances in inventory that result in process and performance improvement.\nCoordinate, facilitate and recommend strategies that will best use the company’s warehouse resources and processes.\nInspect received materials so that they meet our quality standards/requirements. Implement receiving inspection procedures.\nIdentify and report defective materials or questionable conditions of materials.\nEstablish and maintain warehouse/receiving department metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.\nImplement process improvements through analysis of performance.\nParticipate in the annual budgeting process.\nBe able to prioritize activities, functions, decisions in a fast-paced environment.\nMakes recommendations including recruitment in the selection and termination process within the warehouse/receiving department.\nTrain, coach and monitor the performance of the Warehouse/Receiving Associates and temporary associates. Ensure timely, fair, and equitable dealing with employee issues.\nEnsure that all employees within the department are properly trained.\nCommunicate continuously with all employees using daily meetings as needed.\nOversee and ensure that 5S program is maintained in the work area.\nAble to drive a forklift.\nReview/inspect all equipment to make sure it is clean, orderly, maintained, and employees follow prescribed safety regulations.\nInforms and Assists Production Supervisors, Area Managers of production areas of any discrepancies or potential issues whenever necessary.\nEnsures Warehouse/Receiving functions are conducted in accordance with Company policies and procedures.\nLead or participate in JCMS activities, cost savings initiatives, HPT initiatives and inventory control events.\nWorks closely with Materials employees to complete tasks in a timely manner.\nWhat we look for\nRequirements:\nUniversity degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3 Years suggested minimum experience.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in an organized fashion.\nAbility to make confident decisions.\nLeadership, coaching and change agent skills required.\nExcellent oral/written communication and people skills required.\nExperience with perpetual inventory is required.\nComputer proficiency, ERP system knowledge required.\n Must be able to read and communicate in English.\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $72,600 - $92,700 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
