commissioning of automation equipment and systems\nPerform regular maintenance inspections and repairs to maximize automation system availability\nDiagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, robotic, and automation-related equipment issues\nTroubleshoot PLCs, robotics, sensors, HMIs, and related automation components\nProvide immediate technical support to production teams during equipment problems and unexpected breakdowns\nWork directly with controllers and engineering teams to implement hardware and software updates\nUse power tools and appropriate diagnostic equipment to support installations, repairs, and maintenance\nMonitor automation equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve system reliability\nSupport production targets and quality requirements by maintaining stable automation processes\nConduct safety assessments and identify risks associated with automated equipment\nMaintain detailed records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, repairs, and system performance\nDocument technical issues, root causes, corrective actions, and recommended preventive measures\nCollaborate with Engineering and external vendors when advanced technical support or replacement components are required\nImplement appropriate temporary solutions when necessary to safely restore production while permanent corrective actions are developed\nReview recurring equipment failures and implement preventive measures to reduce future breakdowns\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, safety, quality, and productivity\nEmergency & Breakdown Support\nRespond promptly to automation system failures and production-line emergencies\nAssess equipment conditions and determine the scope and operational impact of the problem\nUse diagnostic tools and technical knowledge to identify root causes\nImplement safe corrective actions to restore equipment functionality\nCoordinate response plans with Production and Engineering teams\nEscalate complex problems to specialized engineering resources or external vendors as required\nDocument breakdowns and communicate recommended follow-up actions\nImplement preventive improvements after the immediate issue has been resolved\nWhat We’re Looking For\nAssociate degree or diploma in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience\nAt least one year of experience working with automation systems in a manufacturing environment\nExperience troubleshooting industrial automation equipment\nWorking knowledge of PLCs, robotics, sensors, HMIs, and related control systems\nHands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities\nExperience using power tools and diagnostic equipment safely\nStrong analytical and structured problem-solving skills\nAbility to respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and changing production priorities\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nCommitment to safety, quality, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement\nBonus Points If You Have\nPLC training or certification involving Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Rockwell Automation technologies\nCertified Automation Technician or similar automation-focused training\nExperience with FANUC, ABB, or KUKA robotics\nHMI programming or troubleshooting experience\nKnowledge of industrial communication networks such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, or Profibus\nIndustrial safety training applicable to automated manufacturing environments\nExperience supporting equipment installations, commissioning, or automation upgrades\nExperience conducting root-cause analysis on recurring
