Your expertise in supply chain management will be crucial in driving our success and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here:\nTechnological Leadership: Be part of a company that is a leader in its field, driving technological advancements.\nWork-Life Balance: Flexible working hours and policies that support a healthy work-life balance.\nRecognition Programs: Programs that recognize and reward employee achievements and contributions.\nCommunity Engagement: Opportunities to participate in community service and corporate social responsibility initiatives.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nDevelop appropriate strategic sourcing plans to guide the team's sourcing activities for the Americas.\nConduct negotiations with suppliers focusing on terms and conditions of purchase contracts.\nMake market analysis on commodities and offer budget and savings plans to top management.\nEstablish a regional supplier base in the Americas ensuring supplier operations are in compliance with IATF16949 and ISO 9000.\nLead supplier benchmark activities to guide the SCS sourcing activities, including benchmarking other JE global sites.\nConsolidate regional supplier base for the assigned commodities.\nWork closely with global counterparts to leverage common suppliers, benchmark pricing, and align costs across regions.\nUse global suppliers when appropriate to optimize landed cost, lead time, and quality.\nDrive design for sourcing and manufacturing throughout the New Product Development Process.\nExpedite materials or re-schedule per market demand to meet given deadlines.\nSupport spot purchasing activities for assigned commodities as required on the regional and global level.\nCollaborate with the finance team for on-time payment with suppliers.\nRegularly report (monthly, quarterly) price negotiations with suppliers based on index and/or volumes, new project launches, etc.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nMajor in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.\nKnowledge and experience of various commodity cost drivers, supply base, and strategic supplier management with a focus on understanding material cost drivers.\n0 to 3 years of sourcing experience with Commodity Management experience.\nSkilled in supplier development and management.\nFamiliar with ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and office software, especially Excel and PPT.\nProficiency in English (Business level Spanish and Mandarin preferred).\nFamiliarity with Automotive industry quality requirements preferred.\nExcellent interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.\nGood organizational skills and ability to achieve deliverables on time.\nAbility to work cooperatively with global counterparts.\nHow to Apply:\nApply online at www.johnsonelectric.com - We can’t wait to meet you!\nCome join our global, inclusive & diverse team\nOur purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems.
