This role provides hands-on electrical and controls expertise across automated manufacturing systems while supporting high-volume production, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. You'll reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here:\nDiverse Projects: Work on a variety of projects across different industries, gaining broad experience.\n\nMentorship Opportunities: Access to mentorship programs that help you grow both personally and professionally.\n\nGlobal Mobility: Opportunities for international assignments and transfers to broaden your career horizons.\n\nEthical Practices: A commitment to ethical business practices and integrity in all operations.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nMaintain, repair, refurbish, and support production equipment and facilities in accordance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.\n\nRepair, assemble, debug, install, and start-up CNC, PLC, robotic, and automated assembly equipment from an electrical, controls, hydraulic, and pneumatic perspective.\n\nPerform detailed electrical troubleshooting on industrial equipment including PLCs, CNC controllers, robotics, automation equipment, VFDs, sensors, motor controls, and safety circuits in a high-volume manufacturing environment.\n\nCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to support new equipment installations, upgrades, and manufacturing projects.\n\nSupport planned maintenance activities and emergency breakdown response to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.\n\nInterpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment documentation; assist in maintaining accurate electrical documentation for long-term equipment support.\n\nTest electrical systems and components to ensure safety, efficiency, proper grounding, and code compliance.\n\nUtilize safe electrical work practices and ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and company procedures.\n\nMaintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped maintenance environment, supporting housekeeping and project organization standards.\n\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability, safety, and maintenance effectiveness.\n\nWork collaboratively with other maintenance personnel to ensure effective communication, coordination, and shift hand-off.\n\nEnsure all work complies with company Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Production Systems.\n\nPerform other related duties as assigned\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nQualifications\nSecondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.\n\nValid Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician (442A and/or 309A) in good standing.\n\nCompletion of a recognized Electrician Apprenticeship.\n\nExperience\n1 to 5 years of post-qualification industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.\n\nExperience supporting CNC-, PLC-, robotic-, or automated assembly equipment in a high-volume production setting.\n\nTechnical & Skill Requirements:\nStrong hands-on electrical and controls troubleshooting skills in an industrial manufacturing environment.\n\nWorking knowledge of PLC systems, CNC equipment, motor controls, automation systems, and industrial electrical distribution.\n\nExposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems; Fanuc robot experience is considered an asset.\n\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.\n\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills.\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.\n\nEffective communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of the organization.\n\nHigh level of integrity, dependability, and sense of urgency in a production-driven environment.\n\nWork Environment (Including Physical Demands):\nIndustrial manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, temperature variations, confined spaces, and production materials.\n\nRequired to stand, walk, crouch, climb ladders and stairs, push, pull, lift, and carry tools, components, and materials throughout the facility.\n\nOperation of material-handling and lifting equipment as required.\n\nWillingness to work rotating or continental shifts, overtime, and emergency call-ins to support operations.\n\nHow to Apply: Apply online at www.johnsonelectric.com - We can’t wait to meet you!\nWhat We Offer:\nJohnson Electric offers talented people like you the opportunity to grow professionally and personally, surrounded by some of the most dedicated, innovative, and entrepreneurial colleagues you will find anywhere.
