facilities, maintenance supervisors, and hourly skilled trades employees across the plant.\n\nDevelops and executes preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.\n\nReviews monthly maintenance performance metrics and recommends and implements continuous improvement initiatives across both facilities.\n\nParticipates as a member of the Operations Leadership Team.\n\nImplements, maintains, and continuously improves the maintenance work order management system.\n\nOversees the purchasing and inventory management of maintenance supplies, parts, and equipment.\n\nRecommends, evaluates, and supports the implementation of new equipment and technology.\n\nReviews and maintains equipment history records and maintenance documentation.\n\nReviews, negotiates, and updates annual facility service contracts for both Ancaster facilities.\n\nProvides technical support and maintenance expertise for engineering and capital projects.\n\nManages facility, infrastructure, and equipment improvement projects through contractor selection, quotations, and project oversight.\n\nLeads maintenance team development, succession planning, training, and performance management.\n\nEnsures consistency of maintenance practices, standards, and resource utilization across both facilities.\n\nParticipates in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, cost-reduction, and productivity initiatives.\n\nAdheres to Johnson Electric's policies and procedures.\n\nAdheres to and supports Johnson Electric's Safety and Environmental policies and practices.\n\nEnsures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and the requirements of the Quality Management System, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nPostsecondary education is required\n\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in a supervisory/management capacity in the automotive industry or high-speed manufacturing\n\nSkilled Tradesperson (Province of Ontario), Millwright, Machinist, Electrician certification or equivalent experience without certification\n\nStrong leadership, team building and motivational skills with a comprehensive understanding of critical problem solving\n\nExperience with heavy presses an asset\n\nExcellent organizational and time and stress management skills to complete the required tasks\n\nBasic understanding of Microsoft Office programs, especially Microsoft Word and Excel programs.\n\nAble to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.\n\nHigh level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.\n\nWork Environment\nCombination of office environment and
