gearboxes, mechanical drives, speed reducers, conveyors, presses, and related equipment\nTroubleshoot complex mechanical failures, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions\nInstall, dismantle, align, inspect, test, and commission stationary industrial machinery and equipment\nInterpret operating and maintenance manuals, schematics, technical drawings, equipment layouts, and engineering prints\nRecommend revisions and improvements to equipment documentation when required\nPerform precision mechanical work, including alignment, rigging, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, and equipment modifications\nRespond to emergency equipment failures, identify required resources, and complete necessary repairs\nCoordinate external contractors when specialized maintenance or repair support is required\nInspect completed contractor work to ensure compliance with company requirements and industry best practices\nSupport capital projects, equipment installations, startups, commissioning, and other special projects\nUse CMMS or EAM systems to document completed work, update work orders, request parts, and maintain equipment history\nTrain, mentor, and support apprentices and junior millwrights\nMaintain effective working relationships with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, contractors, and other stakeholders\nEnsure all work complies with applicable safety standards, codes, quality requirements, and environmental regulations\nSupport compliance with applicable management systems, including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001\nPerform other related duties as assigned\nWhat We’re Looking For\nSecondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent\nValid Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright, Red Seal, or provincial equivalent preferred\nCompletion of a recognized Millwright Apprenticeship preferred\nCandidates without a Millwright certification may be considered with at least five years of relevant hands-on industrial maintenance experience\nOne to five years of industrial maintenance experience\nDemonstrated experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical systems\nStrong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear drives, rotating equipment, and related mechanical systems\nAbility to interpret equipment drawings, schematics, technical documentation, and operating and maintenance manuals\nStrong mechanical aptitude, analytical ability, and troubleshooting skills\nThorough understanding of applicable occupational health and safety requirements\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team\nEffective communication, teamwork, and mentorship skills\nWillingness to work shift rotations, overtime, emergency call-ins, and shutdowns as required\nBonus Points If You Have\nRed Seal or provincial Industrial Mechanic Millwright
