Your expertise in metrology, measurement systems, calibration, and gauge management will be essential to maintaining accurate inspection systems, supporting production, and ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards.\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here\nRecognition Programs: Programs that recognize and reward employee achievements and contributions.\nCommunity Engagement: Opportunities to participate in community service and corporate social responsibility initiatives.\nStrong Leadership: Work under experienced and visionary leaders who guide the company towards success.\nInnovation Hubs: Access to state-of-the-art facilities and innovation hubs that foster creativity and development.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nCalibrate, maintain, and repair gauges and other inspection equipment\nSupport daily production requirements and the continuous improvement of gauge-management systems\nCoordinate and conduct Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility studies\nSchedule and complete preventive maintenance activities for gauges and inspection equipment\nSupport special measurement investigations and technical analyses\nMonitor backup-gauge availability against gauge-management plans\nEvaluate gauge wear and escalate risks that could affect measurement capability or production continuity\nPrepare, assemble, and release gauges for production use\nMaintain accurate, organized, and easily accessible calibration records\nCommunicate gauge status, calibration activities, and measurement concerns to appropriate personnel\nPerform basic CMM troubleshooting and support CMM calibration activities\nParticipate in APQP activities and new product or process launches\nEnsure compliance with the Quality Management System and applicable automotive requirements\nSupport 5S, safety, environmental, and continuous improvement activities\nPerform other related duties as assigned\nWhat We’re Looking For\nCollege Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Metrology, or a related technical field\nAt least two years of experience in gauge calibration, metrology, quality inspection, or a similar technical role\nExperience working in an automotive manufacturing environment\nKnowledge of metrology, dimensional inspection, and measurement system analysis\nExperience with GR&R studies and gauge-management practices\nKnowledge of GD&T, statistical principles, and automotive quality systems\nStrong mathematical, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English\nStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail\nAbility to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate effectively with others\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds\nFlexibility to work days, afternoons, nights, continental shifts, and overtime when required\nBonus Points If You Have\nExperience troubleshooting or calibrating CMM equipment\nKnowledge of IATF 16949 requirements\nExperience supporting APQP and new product launches\nFamiliarity with calibration databases or gauge-management software\nExperience developing calibration procedures and preventive maintenance plans\nTraining or certification in metrology, GD&T, or measurement system analysis\nHow to Apply\nApply online at www.johnsonelectric.com.
