The PMO in general is responsible for the following activities:\nGlobal CAPEX management which involves business case review, presenting to management for approval, annual CAPEX budget management.\nProgram managing special global projects (assigned by C-Suite) example -: new site setup, new product launch, production lines transfer across countries\nA critical aspect of this role is the analysis of financial data to identify and address issues impacting regional or site-specific performance.\nThe PMO will collaborate with respective functions to formulate recovery action plans and is tasked with the creation of accessible and insightful visual reports on Power BI for management updates.\nA strong emphasis is placed on leveraging AI, Large Language Models, machine learning, and knowledge of the same will be an added advantage.\nWork with manufacturing team on plant shop floor to understand products and operation processes and find new opportunities to save cost thus assisting in our cost leadership strategy.\nEliminating human intervention in developing reports and develop Single Source of truth data sources within the organization.\nEligibility Criteria:\nA minimum of a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering with 2 to 3 years of work experience (technical manufacturing role)\nAn MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification will give an edge over other candidates but not mandatory for application.\nSome experience in financial analysis will be positive add-on to the skills.\nProficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI (data shaping, DAX modeling, and visualization) and comfortable dealing with complex, non-standardized regional data.\nAdvanced skills in Excel for data analysis.\nProficiency in English is must.\nAgility to work across various time zones, engaging with various teams globally in Johnson electric.\nPragmatic though process in analyzing problems is one of the necessary required skills set.\nOther Details about role\nWork Location: Science Park, Hong Kong\nCandidate should be willing to travel within the region\nCandidate should be willing to work according to different time zones\nCandidates should be willing to work after normal office hours as per the business needs as well.\nThe ideal candidate will bring a blend of academic excellence, professional certifications, and hands-on experience to navigate the complexities of this role effectively.
