Your expertise in tooling maintenance, machining, mold repair, and dimensional control will be essential to ensuring equipment availability, product quality, operational efficiency, and manufacturing excellence.\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here:\nGlobal Presence: Be part of a global company with diverse teams and the opportunity to work on international projects.\nCareer Advancement: Clear career paths and opportunities for advancement within the company.\nEmployee Well-being: Focus on employee health and well-being with various wellness programs and initiatives.\nSustainability Commitment: Work for a company committed to sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nPerform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on plastic injection molds, dies, fixtures, and special tooling\nDisassemble, inspect, repair, adjust, assemble, and test tooling and equipment\nIdentify root causes of tooling failures and implement corrective actions to extend tool life\nMachine parts and components using conventional equipment such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses\nInterpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and dimensional tolerances\nPerform fine adjustments to molds and fixtures to ensure dimensional and functional conformity\nParticipate in try-outs and validations of new molds, tooling, and equipment\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and process optimization\nRecord maintenance activities and interventions within maintenance systems and documentation controls\nEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards\nSupport engineering changes, new product launches, and process modifications\nEnsure proper care, storage, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and measuring instruments\nMaintain and adjust molds used for manufacturing impellers, shrouds, housings, and other plastic components\nAdjust fixtures used for electric motor assembly and automotive fan products\nAssist with dimensional validation of critical components\nParticipate in defect analysis and troubleshooting of molded and assembled products\nProvide technical support to Production, Quality, and Process Engineering teams\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nTechnical diploma in Tool & Die, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field\nProven experience in industrial tooling environments\nExperience working with plastic injection molds and assembly fixtures\nExperience in automotive manufacturing is considered an asset\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities\nAbility to work independently and within a team environment\nTechnical Knowledge Required:\nReading and interpretation of mechanical technical drawings\nMetrology and dimensional control techniques\nConventional machining processes\nMechanical fitting and precision adjustments\nKnowledge of plastic injection molds and tooling systems\nPreventive and corrective maintenance practices\nContinuous improvement methodologies\nBasic Microsoft Office skills\nBonus Points If You Have:\nExperience repairing and modifying injection molds\nWelding experience for tooling recovery and repair\nAutomotive manufacturing experience\nExperience supporting new product launches and engineering changes\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools\nKey Competencies:\nOrganization and discipline\nAttention to detail\nAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skills\nTeamwork and collaboration\nSense of urgency\nProactive mindset\nCommitment to quality and safety\nEffective communication\nTraining Preferred:\nNR-11 Crane Operation Certification (Desirable)\nHow to Apply:\nApply online at www.johnsonelectric.com - We can’t wait to meet you!\nCome join our global, inclusive & diverse team\nOur purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems.
