Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech\nWe are searching for the best talent for Aviation Maintenance Technician Summer Intern to be in Trenton, NJ.\nThe Intern term is from May to August, 2027.\nOn-site schedule availability, including nights and weekends.\nFull-time availability (40 hours per week) plus overtime as needed.\n2 Aviation Department Internship positions are available at West Trenton Mercer County Airport (KTTN) for the summer program.\nPurpose:\nJ&J flight engineers performs all levels of aircraft maintenance and servicing. The day to day consists of; line service, scheduled inspection, AOG troubleshooting. Maintenance technicians travel globally with the aircraft for support and act as cabin safety attendant.\nThe Internship Program is focused on providing college students with practical business aviation experience. It allows them to develop leadership skills, broaden their understanding of the concepts learned in school and \"get a taste of the real world\" before they are fully committed to it.\nYou will be responsible:\nAircraft Maintenance (Scheduled & Unscheduled).\nLine Work (Towing, fueling, marshalling).\nTroubleshooting Aircraft Systems.\nPotentially flying with the aircraft as a flight engineer on a domestic/international trip.\nFleet includes:\nGulfstream G600 (2)\nGulfstream G650 (2)\nLeonardo AW-139 (1)\nQualifications / Requirements:\nCompletion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Aviation Maintenance Technologies, or related fields.\nHave a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.\nFAA Airframe and Power Plant License (preferred).\nDriver’s car license.\nLess than 1hr commute from Trenton, NJ (paid housing available).\nComputer skills (Microsoft Word, and Excel).\nCell phone with email capability.\nSchedule availability (mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends).\nPermanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
