The candidate will be involved in solving data science and data analytics problems. With defined requirements, the candidate will be responsible for designing algorithms for products, building machine learning tools and doing data analysis.\nImplement machine learning for new or existing algorithms\nDesign and translate algorithms for products and internal analysis tools\nResearch in new applications of data science within the company\nConduct data analysis for internal or external groups\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist in the design and training of Machine Learning models for Clinical Decision Support\nProvide input into process development and improvement\nAnalyze data and present results to larger Engineering team\nMinimum Requirements\nSenior or Grad student pursuing a degree in data science, computer science, computer\nengineering, software engineering, AI, or statistics\nStrong Machine Learning background with experience in Deep Learning (along with tools like Tensorflow, Keras, Pytorch), time series modeling, LLMs, natural language processing.\nProficient in at least one programming language (Python preferred) and solid understanding of data structures & algorithms.\nSolid understanding of statistics, strong analytical skills\nSelf-motivated, execute tasks in a timely manner\nDemonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal\nPreferred Requirements\nDemonstrated experience with tuning and evaluating Large Language Models on variety of tasks including Named Entity Recognition and Question-Answering\nKnowledge in Data Science / Machine Learning libraries (numpy, pandas, matplotlib, sklearn, nltk)\nExperience in signal processing\nBig data / cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Hadoop, Spark, Hive)\nDisplayed interest in medical device industry\nPermanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
