In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.\nJob Overview\nThe EP Team Lead provides hands-on leadership and operational oversight for a team supporting essential enterprise or functional processes. This role is responsible for day-to-day execution, workload coordination, and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of services. The EP Team Lead plays a key role in driving consistency, process adherence, and continuous improvement while serving as a point of escalation and support for team members. This position offers the opportunity to lead people, influence outcomes, and contribute directly to operational excellence within DePuy Synthes.\nKey Responsibilities\nEffectively plan and conduct threat-based, all-hazards executive protection operations to mitigate risk to protectees\nSecurely transport protectees in accordance with Executive Security Services protocols\nWork in conjunction with DePuy Synthes’ multi-disciplined Global Security team\nConduct advance security surveys of venues and events prior to protectee participation\nConduct domestic and international protective operations\nCommunicate with protectees regarding safety, security, and logistics\nMaintain strict confidentiality regarding protectees personal and private information\nCommunicate with internal and external stakeholders about scheduling information/updates as appropriate\nOversee the condition of vehicles and equipment used for executive protection operations\nAdhere to DePuy Synthes Executive Security Services policies, guidelines, and procedures\nLead and coordinate daily activities of the EP team to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. \nServe as the primary point of contact for team-level operational issues, escalations, and questions. \nSupport onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members. \nIdentify process gaps or inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives. \nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related field required \nAdvanced degree or relevant professional training preferred \nExperience and Skills\nRequired:\nTypically requires 6-8 years of relevant professional experience, including people leadership responsibilities. \nAvailable to work extended hours and irregular shifts to include evenings, weekends, and holidays\nReside in the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania)\nKnowledgeable of the Boston Metropolitan area and nearby airports (Boston, Providence) \nSuccessful completion of established executive protection course and advanced driver training\nPhysically capable of responding to critical situations\nStrong operational planning, execution, and resource management capabilities. \nSolid understanding of compliance, quality systems, and process discipline. \nStrong communication, coaching, and performance management skills. \nPreferred:\nExperience working in a regulated or matrixed organization. \nExperience supporting process improvement or operational excellence initiatives. \nFamiliarity with enterprise systems or functional tools relevant to the team’s scope. \nDemonstrated ability to influence without direct authority. \nOther:\nLanguage: English proficiency required \nTravel: Up to 30% domestic travel\nCertifications: Not required \nUnion: Not applicable \nJohnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
