This position is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, compliant, and efficient operation of facility systems and infrastructure. The role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, routine inspections, troubleshooting, minor repairs, and operational support for building and utility systems.\nThe position works closely with Facility Management, EHS, Security, production/business teams, contractors, and service providers to maintain facility reliability, minimize operational disruption, and provide a safe and professional workplace environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate internal technicians and external vendors to ensure work is executed safely, on time, and in compliance with site, quality, and EHS requirements. \nMonitor maintenance backlog, equipment availability, and schedule adherence; identify risks and recommend corrective actions. \nSupport facilities-related shutdowns, changeovers, and special projects by developing detailed schedules and resource plans. \nMaintain accurate maintenance records, asset data, and documentation to support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives. \nAnalyze maintenance data and KPIs to identify trends, improve planning effectiveness, and drive reliability improvements. \nPerform daily operation, inspection, monitoring, and maintenance of facility equipment and systems.\nSupport building systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, compressed air, water systems, fire protection, and other utility systems as applicable.\nMonitor equipment operating conditions and escalate potential reliability or safety risks.\nMaintain facility equipment, plant rooms, workshops, and utility areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition.\nSupport equipment reliability improvement through inspections, condition monitoring, and identification of recurring failures.\nSupport initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime and improve equipment/system reliability.\nIdentify opportunities to improve maintenance effectiveness, equipment performance, energy efficiency, and operating costs.\nParticipate in emergency drills and business continuity activities as required.\nPerform all work in accordance with company EHS, quality, regulatory, and site safety requirements.\nFollow established procedures including LOTOTO, permit-to-work, working at height, electrical safety, confined-space requirements, and other applicable controls.\nConduct routine safety and facility inspections and report unsafe conditions in a timely manner.\nSupport regulatory inspections, internal/external audits, and corrective actions when required.\nEnsure maintenance work is properly documented and executed in accordance with applicable procedures and standards.\nCoordinate and monitor contractors performing maintenance, repair, installation, and other facility-related work.\nSupport supervision and acceptance of completed contractor work.\nMaintain maintenance records, inspection checklists, equipment logs, and other facility documentation.\nUpdate equipment status and maintenance information in the CMMS/work-order system.\nMaintain accurate records of equipment failures, repairs, spare-parts usage, and maintenance activities.\nSupport equipment documentation and maintenance-history management.\nSupport facility renovation, equipment installation, utility modification, and CAPEX projects as required.\nSupport implementation of facility standards and continuous improvement initiatives.\nRespond professionally and promptly to facility service requests from internal customers.\nCoordinate facility issues with relevant stakeholders to minimize disruption to business operations.\nMaintain a strong service mindset and communicate clearly regarding work status, risks, and expected completion.\nSupport the delivery of a safe, reliable, comfortable, and professional workplace environment.\nQualifications\nEducation\nTechnical school, vocational diploma, associate degree, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Building Services, Automation, or a related discipline.\nRelevant professional or technical certifications are preferred.\nTechnical diploma or equivalent experience in facilities, engineering. \nExperience and Skills\nRequired:\nRelevant work experience in facilities, engineering operations, or a similar role, aligned to professional-level expectations. \nExperience in a manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics, or other regulated environment is preferred.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external service providers including facilities, site operations teams, general office staff . \nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications; ability to analyze and report maintenance data. \nPreferred:\nExperience supporting facilities operations in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences. \nFamiliarity with reliability, preventive maintenance, or continuous improvement methodologies. \nExperience supporting audits, inspections, or regulatory requirements related to facilities and utilities. \nOther:\nLanguage: Proficiency in Mandarin required;
