Reusable platform capabilities and developer experience\nDefine and lead the development of reusable APIs, services, integration patterns, frameworks, SDKs, components, and developer tooling used across CxM product pods.\nEstablish governed patterns for Microsoft Dynamics configuration, customization, integration, data access, testing, release management, and environment management.\nCreate and maintain a catalog of approved platform services, reusable business capabilities, technical patterns, and implementation guidance.\nImprove developer productivity and delivery quality through automation, standardization, observability, and modern software engineering practices.\n3. Engineering governance and delivery leadership\nOwn CXM platform engineering standards and technical guardrails while aligning with enterprise architecture, cloud, cyber security, privacy, data, and AI policies.\nProvide technical direction and quality oversight across internal engineers, product pods, contractors, systems integrators, and strategic technology partners.\nLead architecture reviews, resolve cross-team technical dependencies, and intervene early when delivery choices create platform risk or unnecessary duplication.\nCoach engineers and technical leads, strengthen engineering capability, and create a culture of accountability, reuse, documentation, and continuous improvement.\nCommunicate architecture decisions, risks, trade-offs, and investment needs clearly to product, business, technology, and executive stakeholders.\nMeasures of Success\nA clear target architecture and sequenced engineering roadmap are established and used to guide investment and delivery decisions.\nProduct pods adopt common engineering standards, integration contracts, and reusable platform capabilities.\nDuplicated solutions and one-off regional implementations are reduced in favor of governed reuse and configuration.\nPlatform reliability, security, release quality, developer productivity, and time to deliver improve through measurable engineering practices.\nPriority AI capabilities progress from demonstrations to secure, observable, supportable production services with defined business outcomes.\nTechnical decisions are made at the right level without requiring product leadership to mediate routine architecture and engineering issues.\nRequired Qualifications\n10 or more years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale digital products, platforms, or distributed systems.\n7 or more years as a lead architect, principal engineer, platform engineer, or engineering leader accountable for architecture and technical strategy.\nDemonstrated experience leading a large-scale platform modernization or transformation across multiple teams, products, regions, or business units.\nDeep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, extensibility, integration, data models, security, release management, and platform operations.\nExperience with Microsoft Azure services and integrations across Microsoft 365, including Teams, Outlook, Copilot, and Copilot Studio.\nProven experience designing reusable APIs, services, frameworks, SDKs, engineering patterns, or internal developer capabilities rather than only standalone applications.\nHands-on understanding of modern engineering practices and tooling, including Git, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containers, Kubernetes, automated testing, and platform observability.\nExperience designing or implementing production AI solutions using capabilities such as LLM integration, agent orchestration, RAG, tool calling, context engineering, evaluation, observability, security, and governance.\nExperience operating in a highly regulated, security-conscious, or otherwise complex enterprise environment.\nStrong understanding of commercial business processes such as sales, pricing, quoting, contracting, customer engagement, or professional relations.\nDemonstrated ability to lead through influence across product, engineering, enterprise architecture, security, vendors, and senior stakeholders.\nExperience providing technical leadership to employees, contractors, delivery partners, or federated engineering teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or another regulated industry.\nExperience integrating Microsoft-based business platforms with enterprise services operating across Azure and AWS environments, including API, event-driven, data, identity, security, and observability services.\nExperience building enterprise agent platforms, internal developer platforms, reusable SDKs, framework libraries, or shared engineering services.\nExperience designing global platforms that support controlled local or regional variation.\nExperience managing systems integrators and strategic technology partners in complex delivery environments.\nExperience leading engineering capability building or organizational transformation.\nFor internal candidates, working knowledge of XENA engineering standards, accelerators, AI-enabled SDLC practices, enterprise architecture standards, deployment frameworks, and CI/CD governance.
