This role provides hands-on experience in corporate storytelling, employee engagement, and multi-channel communications-ideal for a creative, motivated communicator eager to contribute to a fast-paced global team.\nInspired by the experiences shared by Vision interns highlighting collaboration, dynamic work, and global storytelling, the intern will gain exposure to cross-functional teams, corporate programs, and social impact initiatives such as Sight For Kids.\nKey Responsibilities\nContent Creation & Storytelling\nDraft and edit content for emails, newsletters, intranet articles, leadership messages, and social media.\nSource “good news” stories by partnering with regional and functional teams; conduct interviews and gather testimonials.\nSupport production of multimedia assets, including presentations, graphics, videos, and podcasts (e.g., similar to Vision R&D podcast projects referenced in intern showcases).\nEmployee Communications & Engagement\nContribute to communications strategies that connect our diverse, global workforce-especially employees working in office, hybrid, and manufacturing contexts.\nHelp plan and promote internal events, campaigns, and global awareness initiatives.\nMonitor employee feedback and engagement metrics to shape future communications.\nGlobal Programs & Americas Regional Support\nAssist in projects aligned to Global Vision Communications pillars such as brand reputation, innovation storytelling, and culture activation\nSupport cross-regional collaboration, including Americas (NA & LATAM) activities.\nParticipate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional working groups.\nResearch & Insights\nConduct research on communication trends, tools, technologies, and best practices.\nBenchmark industry storytelling approaches and identify opportunities to enhance our communication channels.\nRequired Qualifications\nPursuing or completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work across diverse global teams.\nCreative mindset with an interest in storytelling and digital communications.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with graphic design, video editing, or content management tools.\nComfort working in fast-paced, matrixed environments.\nInterest in healthcare, innovation, or global social impact programs\nWhat You’ll Gain\nHands-on experience contributing to global corporate communications.\nExposure to senior leaders and cross-sector collaboration\nDevelopment of storytelling, project management, and digital communication skills.\nThe opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee experience and global brand reputation.\nPermanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
