The position will give the candidate an end-to-end exposure to a global FP&A environment, combining financial analysis with digital transformation.\nThe position will be based in Madrid working within an international team based in Switzerland, The Netherlands and Ireland.\nThe tasks related to this trainee position are:\nFinancial Planning Support: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and closing cycles by supporting data collection, consolidation, validation, and preparation of planning templates.\nFinancial Analysis & Reporting: Support analysis of P&L, headcount, cash flow, and other key financial metrics\nManagement Reporting: Help prepare financial summaries, dashboards, and presentation materials for management reviews with IMPO Leadership and Finance stakeholders.\nData Quality & Reconciliation: Perform financial data checks and reconciliations across reporting and planning tools, investigating differences and supporting resolution of data issues.\nProcess Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to simplify recurring FP&A activities and support the development of Excel, Power BI, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.\nTools & Transformation: Support testing, documentation, and implementation of new FP&A tools and reporting processes, gaining exposure to broader Finance transformation initiatives.\nAd-hoc Analysis: Support the FP&A team with analytical requests and financial deep dives to facilitate business and management decision-making.\nRequirements:\nPreference for a degree/master in Finance/Business Administration/Economics\nEnglish fluent written /read/ spoken: communication is key since the position will be working within international team.\nMicrosoft applications (excel, outlook) other IT skills are nice to have.\nPower BI, Power Automate, AI tools knowledge\nAnalytic skills\nOrganizational and team skills\nWe Offer:\nExposure to a world-class Finance organization.\nHands-on experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.\nOpportunity to work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.\nA collaborative environment focused on learning, development, and growth.\nMeaningful projects that contribute to business decision-making.\nDuration of the internship -
