You are accountable for keeping Industrial IT applications stable, secure, and compliant and for bringing new systems successfully into daily operations.\nWorking closely with engineering, IT, QA, cybersecurity, and external vendors, you deliver a reliable, future -proof, and continuously improving Industrial IT environment. You combine solid technical expertise with structured execution, sound judgement, and a hands-on approach.\nTasks and Authorizations\nOwn assigned Industrial IT applications and ensure stable, compliant, and reliable operations.\nDiagnose and resolve system issues and implement improvements that increase performance and availability.\nParticipate in a rotating weekend on-call service to safeguard system continuity.\nExecute and coordinate essential lifecycle activities, including configuration, monitoring, documentation, user management, patching, backup, and recovery.\nCoordinate with IT, engineering, and vendors on system upgrades, integrations, and the deployment of new Industrial IT applications.\nPlan and execute commissioning, testing, validation, and operational readiness activities for new or updated systems.\nTake an active role in deviations, CAPAs, investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nCommunicate clearly with stakeholders about system health, risks, decisions, and project progress.\nQualifications\nWe are looking for a solid technical foundation combined with relevant professional experience and the ability to translate expertise into independent system ownership.\nRelevant professional experience with Industrial IT, industrial automation, or related systems in a manufacturing or regulated environment.\nSolid grasp of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, segmentation, and firewalls.\nAbility to use scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python to automate routine tasks.\nThe skills below are not mandatory but provide a strong advantage in this role.\nKnowledge of the pharmaceutical industry (GxP, GAMP, qualification, etc.)\nKnowledge of particle monitoring platforms -ideally LMS Pharma (SE Geoscada)\nUnderstanding of Windows Server-based applications, including basic troubleshooting and system administration.\nFamiliarity with data historian solutions such as AVEVA PI or similar time-series data platforms.\nAwareness of Industrial IT cybersecurity principles (NIS2, ISA-95, Purdue Model) is an asset.\nWorking knowledge of Active Directory for user and access management.\nKnowledge of backup and recovery solutions used in Industrial IT environments.\nExperience with Industrial IT monitoring tools, such as PRTG.\nAttitude\nPrioritizes quality and safety in every decision and action.\nWorks as an open, collaborative team player with a strong service mindset.\nActs in line with Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives, integrating them into daily work and decision-making.\nTakes ownership of assigned systems, projects, tasks, and problems and acts proactively.\nApplies a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving and continuously expands knowledge of Industrial IT technologies.\nOrganizes and prioritizes work independently, coordinates effectively, and follows through on commitments, including under pressure.\nCommunicates clearly and constructively, focusing on solutions and alignment with stakeholders.\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Automation, Electromechanics, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science with Industrial IT affinity - or equivalent relevant experience.\nTypically, at least three years of relevant professional experience in Industrial IT, industrial automation, manufacturing IT, or a comparable technical environment.\nLanguages\nExcellent command of English (spoken and written).\nStrong proficiency in Dutch (C1 level) is preferred.\n#SCEngineer\n#LI-MV2\nRequired Skills:\nPreferred Skills:\nThe anticipated base pay range for this position is:\n€60,000.00 - €96,255.00Benefits:\nIn addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
