Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech\nWe are searching for the best talent for Associate Area Manager - Heart Recovery based in Seoul.\nYou will be responsible for:\nThis role is crucial in ensuring the proper use of the Impella heart pump system and in collaborating with hospitals to improve patient care quality.\n1. Support for Impella Procedures:\nOn-site Clinical Support: Provide direct clinical support to medical staff while using the device. Offer expert guidance on the installation and management of the system.\nPre- and Post-Procedure Training: Educate physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on the proper use and management of the system and provide advice on patient care with our product. \n2. In-Service Training:\nOngoing Education and Training: Deliver training to hospitals and procedure teams on the latest information and techniques for using Abiomed products. Lead the education on newly released products and how to use them effectively.\nDevelopment of Training Materials: Create and provide customized educational materials tailored to the needs of medical staff.\n3. Patient Monitoring and Feedback:\nMonitor patients to ensure that the device is properly installed and that the patient’s condition remains stable, providing relevant feedback to the medical team.\n4. Collaboration with Medical Staff:\nWork closely with the hospital's medical team to assist in the development of patient treatment plans and contribute to achieving the best procedural outcomes through analysis and recommendations. \n5. Troubleshooting Product Issues:\nAddress and resolve any product-related issues that may arise during the procedure, ensuring the proper maintenance and troubleshooting of the system\n6. Responsible to drive patient outcomes and utilization through algorithm, best practices, customer education and medical staff interaction for new and existing accounts including training needs assessment, development of suitable training plan, execution of training and any necessary follow up.\n7. Drive excitement, the cost-effectiveness proposition and vision of heart recovery for the patients who may benefit from Impella by working with multiple stakeholders (IC, CTS, HF, ICU) to understand and identify local dynamics and to address barriers of adoption.\n8. Develop meaningful relationships to keep the therapy top of mind so physicians will increase awareness of Heart Recovery Program, identify\nappropriate patients who may benefit and recommend the therapy.\n9. Market products directly to hospitals by organizing structured appointments & meetings with Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, Intensivists, Heart Failure Specialists, Purchasing and Administration staff.\n10. Identify and open new sites using structured program approach and launch protocol/best practices.\nQualifications / Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related healthcare field. \nAdvanced certifications in cardiology, critical care, or related specialties are often preferred.\n5+ years overall experience in the healthcare setting within device/pharma industry or hospital setting\nMinimum of 2~3 years of clinical experience in Interventional Cardiology, cardiac surgery, or similar environment.- Previous experience with medical devices, especially those used in cardiovascular procedures, is highly preferred.\nHands-on experience in a hospital or catheterization lab (Cath Lab), ICU, or operating room (OR) environment is advantageous.\nRelationships with Interventional Cardiologists, CT Surgeon, Intensivist, Heart Failure Specialists preferred\nPreferably fluent in English and native in Korean\nGood Level of clinical skills, preferably medically trained to technician or nurse level\nWillingness to work on-call\nFlexibility to travel frequently to hospitals, often at short notice, to provide on-site support during procedures or conduct training sessions.\nAbility to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, based on the clinical needs of healthcare facilities.\nLegal Entity\nMedTech\nJob Type\nRegular\nApplication Documents\nFree-form Korean resume and cover letter are required\nApplication Deadline\nUntil the position is closed\nNotes\nPreference will be given to individuals subject to national veterans’ benefits and persons with disabilities upon submission of relevant documents as per applicable laws.\nOnly candidates who pass the resume screening will be notified individually.
