The specialist plays a critical role in stabilizing operations, driving performance, and enhancing user experience through proactive problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Payment Processing & Execution (Primary Focus)\nExecute end-to-end payment processing activities, including invoice validation, payment runs, and exception handling\nEnsure all payments are completed accurately and within SLA timelines\nManage complex or high-value transactions requiring deeper validation and controls\nEnsure compliance with internal policies, controls, and regulatory requirements\n2. Issue Resolution & Escalation Management\nAct as SME for complex payment issues, including system errors, mismatches, and failed payments\nConduct root cause analysis and drive resolution across Procurement, Finance, and IT teams\nManage escalations and ensure timely closure with clear communication to stakeholders\n3. Process Governance & Compliance\nEnsure adherence to global standards, controls, and audit requirements\nSupport internal/external audits by providing documentation and issue resolution\nIdentify risks within payment processes and proactively recommend mitigation actions\n4. Performance Monitoring & Service Delivery\nTrack and manage payment KPIs such as:On-time payment rates\nCycle time\nError/exception rates\n\nDrive corrective actions for performance gaps and support continuous service improvement\n5. Continuous Improvement & Automation\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance data quality\nParticipate in transformation initiatives (e.g., automation, ServiceNow, system enhancements)\nSupport standardization and simplification of payment processes across regions\n6. Stakeholder Engagement & Support\nPartner with:Procurement (S2C)\nFinance / Treasury\nBusiness users / requestors\nVendors / suppliers\n\nProvide guidance and resolution support to users on payment-related inquiries\nContribute to improving overall user and supplier experience (PEX)\n7. Knowledge Management & Capability Building\nMaintain and update process documentation and playbooks\nSupport onboarding and training of new team members\nContribute to building SME capability within the Payments team\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent University degree is required.\n3 - 5 years in Payments / AP / Finance operations\nStrong process expertise in Payments, invoice processing, and controls\nExperience in SAP (MM/FI) preferred\nPreferred:\nGood understanding of Payments processes and Invoice Processing operations at a high level.\nShared services industry experience.\nOther:\nFluency in English (written and oral) is required.
