The ideal candidate will bring strong people leadership, operational discipline, and experience driving performance through effective resource coordination, team development, and continuous improvement. This role is pivotal in fostering an inclusive, accountable culture while partnering across functions to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and employee-engagement objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and employee-engagement objectives. \nPlan production activities, establish priorities, assign resources, and adjust staffing or workflow to meet the production schedule. \nProvide visible floor leadership by monitoring operations, resolving issues, and ensuring timely escalation of risks and constraints. \nCoach and develop employees through clear expectations, regular feedback, recognition, performance management, and development planning. \nBuild an inclusive, accountable team culture that promotes collaboration, ownership, respectful communication, and adherence to company values. \nEnsure compliance with approved procedures, GMP requirements, quality systems, environmental standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. \nMonitor operational performance using key metrics such as throughput, yield, scrap, labor efficiency, downtime, service, and inventory accuracy; implement corrective actions when results are off plan. \nInvestigate safety, quality, and operational issues; support nonconformance resolution, root-cause analysis, and effective corrective and preventive actions. \nPartner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, Planning, Human Resources, and other functions to resolve production constraints and support business priorities. \nDrive continuous improvement through Lean principles, standard work, visual management, waste reduction, and structured problem-solving. \nSupport new product introductions, process transfers, validation, equipment qualification, training, and change implementation activities. \nMaintain accurate operational, training, attendance, performance, and compliance records, and communicate shift results, priorities, and risks to key stakeholders. \nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Operations Management, or a related field. \nMinimum of four years of manufacturing experience, including experience in a regulated environment. \nPrevious team leadership or supervisory experience preferred. \nMedical device, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industry experience preferred. \nEffective English communication and strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. \nKnowledge of GMP, quality systems, and applicable FDA requirements; familiarity with ISO 13485 preferred. \nAbility to analyze production data, solve problems, make decisions, and manage multiple priorities. \nStrong collaboration, conflict-resolution, delegation, and accountability skills. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP, MRP, or manufacturing systems preferred. \nAbility to work the assigned shift and support operational needs as required. \nJohnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
