Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech\nWe are searching for the best talent for a QA/QC Technician 2 role to be in Limerick, Ireland.\nPurpose: This individual will be responsible for conducting QC testing and inspections as per QC procedures. The QA/QC Technician 2 role involves the responsibility for equipment verification, sampling of finished goods, secondary package testing, primary package testing, package seal integrity testing, Lens parameter testing and visual audit testing using ‘Laboratory Information Management Systems’ (LIMS).\nAs a QA/QC Technician 2, you will:\nFollowing Good Manufacturing Practice requirements in all aspects of role\nProduct testing/ inspection following lab procedures and standards\nCollation and entry of results to LIMS (Laboratory Information System) as applicable\nCompletes record of results as per Good document practices when required\nMaintaining QC equipment in a validated GMP state, as per QC procedures\nLens sampling per procedure, as required\nCompleting QC tasks as directed by QC management\nRecommends and implements revisions, corrections and changes to laboratory procedures, test equipment procedures and test methods when required.\nResponsible for completing Training requirements in a timely manner\nResponsible for maintaining personal training records in a compliant manner\nPrepares for and Participates in Regulatory and internal audits as directed\nAll employees are responsible for minimising both the Environmental and Health & Safety effects of the work that they perform\nQualifications/Requirements:\nLevel 6 Diploma/Degree in Quality or science related discipline\nExperience in a regulated environment is preferable\nAbility to work in a team environment while meeting daily targets\nAbility to work on own initiative\nFlexible work ethic\nAttention to detail\nBeing able to work in a team environment\nStrong Communication and Organizational skills\nAbility to coach, develop & mentor key staff\nDevelops and maintains a positive team environment.\nAt Johnson & Johnson, we want every candidate to feel supported throughout the hiring process.
