This role is essential for ensuring compliance with EHS Regulations and Corporate standards, driving best practice, developing our EHS Culture and ensuring the safety of all those who work on our site.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPrepare and submit EHS reports, metrics, and documentation to management and regulatory agencies as the need arises.\nSupport the site’s EHS Programs with a focus on compliance, risk management and continual improvement.\nAct as EHS SME on IOSS (Integrated Ownership of Safety Systems) providing expert guidance and direction to ensure program effectiveness and compliance.\nEnsure adherence to EHS Regulatory requirements and Corporate EHS Standards.\nDesign and Deliver EHS Training Programs.\nCollaborate with Senior Management and other partners to establish and achieve EHS Goals and Objectives.\nSupport the maintenance of EHS Managements systems including the ISO14001 Environmental Standard.\nFunction as site Administrator of the Corporate EHS Software System (CURVE), Contractor Management System and Permit to Work System providing SME Support, oversight, and training.\nProvide Analysis of EHS Metrics and prepare and issue of Reports as the need arises.\nCoordinate EHS Audits and Inspections with Regulators, Corporate and Certifying bodies and other stakeholders as the need arises.\nRun the EHS Audit and Inspection program and conduct regular inspections and audits of the facility and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems to confirm compliance and identify areas for improvement.\nConduct workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential safety and environmental hazards; recommend corrective actions.\nFunction as EHS Partner for assigned Business units / departments/ Projects.\nSupport the business in the Investigation of EHS Events to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventative actions to prevent re-occurrences.\nRun the Industrial Hygiene / Chemicals Programs\nCultivate positive relationships with all partners and collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.\nSupport various components of the broader EHS Program as directed by the EHS Manager.\nQualifications:\nEducation:\nA Degree or equivalent in Environmental Health and Safety, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.\nExperience and Skills:\nRequired:\n5 Years experience in a similar role.\nProven EHS experience in a Manufacturing Environment.\nPractical experience in implementing and maintaining EHS Management Systems.\nPractical experience of EHS Management Software utilised to handle MOC, Incidents, CAPA, Auditing, Inspection and other applicable EHS Modules.\nPractical Knowledge of Chemicals, Chemical handling, and related regulations.\nPractical Knowledge of monitoring /controlling Noise in an industrial environment.\nA collaborator with strong people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.\nSolid understanding of Permitting, LOTOTO, mechanical and electrical engineering concepts and machinery safety principles.\nExcellent problem-solving and incident investigation skills.\nStrong project management abilities with a focus on delivering results.\nProficient in data management, analysis, and reporting.\nProficient in IT and relevant software applications.\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a larger team.\nStrong attention to detail, with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities effectively.\nPreferred:\nManual Handling Trainer\nRelevant EHS Professional certifications are highly desirable.\nJohnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
