This position provides technical leadership for facility systems, supports business continuity, and drives continuous improvement across utilities, infrastructure, and building services. The role offers the opportunity to directlyimpactsite performance, safety, and sustainability while partnering closely with manufacturing, quality, EHS, and global facilities teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead engineering oversight for facility systems including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, compressed air, and utility systems to ensure reliable and compliant operations.\n\nManage preventive and corrective maintenance programs to support manufacturing uptime and minimize operational risk.\n\nServe as the technical subject matter expert for facility infrastructure projects, renovations, and capital improvements from design through execution and handover.\n\nEnsure compliance with local regulations, corporate standards, and EHS requirements related to facilities and utilities.\n\nPartner with manufacturing, quality, and EHS teams to support audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions.\n\nManage external service providers and contractors, includingscopedefinition, performance monitoring, and cost control.\n\nIdentifyand implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability, energy efficiency, and sustainability of facility systems.\n\nSupport emergency response, incident investigation, and root cause analysis related to facility systems.\n\nMaintainaccuratetechnical documentation, drawings, SOPs, and maintenance records.\n\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering(Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, or related discipline)required.\n\nMaster’s degree in Engineeringor Facilities Management preferred.\n\nExperience and Skills\nRequired:\nTypically6-8 yearsof progressive experience in facilities engineering, maintenance, or utilities management within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated industrial environment.\n\nStrong technical knowledge of building systems, utilities, and infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations.\n\nExperience managing contractors, service providers, andfacility-relatedprojects.\n\nWorking knowledge of EHS, regulatory, and compliance requirements for industrial facilities.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaborate acrosscross-functionalteams.\n\nProficiencywith CMMS, technical documentation, and standard engineering tools.\n\nPreferred:\nExperience supporting GMP or regulated manufacturing environments.\n\nProject management experience for capital or infrastructure projects.\n\nKnowledge of energy management, sustainability initiatives, or reliability engineering.\n\nFamiliarity with global corporate facilities standards and best practices.\n\nExperience working in a multinational or matrixed organization.\n\nProvenproblem-solvingand root cause analysis skills.\n\nOther\nLanguage:Proficiencyin Mandarinrequired; workingproficiencyin English preferred.\n\nTravel:Limited; up to 10% domestic or regional travel as needed.\n\nCertifications:Professional engineering, facilities management, or safety certifications (e.g., PMP, CFM) preferred but notrequired.\n\nUnion:Not applicable.\n\nDriver’s License:Not required.\n\nFor more information on how we support the whole health of our employees throughout their wellness,careerand life journey, please visitwww.careers.jnj.com.\nJohnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
