The role shapes priorities, aligns resources and leads the execution of integrated EH&S strategies that appropriate occupational & process safety, industrial hygiene and environmental compliance controls are in place to enable safe, compliant and reliable manufacturing, research and development, project delivery and sustainable growth.\nSuccess is achieved through visible leadership of EH&S managers, professionals and programme leads, and through trusted partnership with site leadership, business units, Global Supply Chain, the Biotherapeutics platform, Innovative Medicine Sector and Enterprise EH&S. The Senior Manager builds a high-performing organisation by setting clear direction, developing talent, strengthening succession, enabling sound decisions and embedding a culture of compliance, learning, accountability and continuous improvement in EH&S.\nThe role provides senior governance and assurance across the site’s EH&S programmes, ensuring that accountable leaders, capable teams and effective management systems, occupational and process safety, contractor and construction safety support, emergency preparedness, environmental compliance, the site’s Industrial Emissions license, Genetically Modified Organisms license and Greenhouse Gas permit, environmental stewardship & sustainability, EH&S management systems and assurance.
