The team develops dissolution and in vitro release methods supporting pharmaceutical development, registration, commercialization, and lifecycle management for a broad portfolio of innovative medicines.\nThe organization develops, validates, transfers, and maintains dissolution methods while supporting product development, regulatory submissions, manufacturing investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives. The team collaborates closely with pharmaceutical development, quality, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, and external partners across the global organization.\nJob Title\nSenior Scientist Dissolution and In Vitro Release Sciences, Simulations, and Optimization\nLevel will be determined based on experience, scientific expertise, and demonstrated leadership capabilities.\nJob Description\nThe Senior Scientist will provide scientific leadership for dissolution and in vitro release activities across development and commercial products. The role will support method development, validation, transfer, investigations, regulatory submissions, and lifecycle management while contributing to innovation and capability building within the Dissolution Sciences organization.\nThe Successful Candidate\nRepresents Dissolution Sciences in cross-functional teams consisting of pharmaceutical, analytical, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory scientists.\nLeads development of dissolution and in vitro release strategies supporting development, registration, and commercialization programs.\nDesigns and executes dissolution method development, validation, transfer, comparability, and troubleshooting studies.\nSupports complex investigations and develops scientifically sound solutions for product-performance challenges.\nContributes to Health Authority submissions, responses, inspections, and regulatory interactions.\nIntroduces innovative approaches in dissolution development, automation, modeling, data analytics, and laboratory technologies.\nDrives scientific excellence while mentoring colleagues and contributing to capability development across the organization.\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nPhD or MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.\nProven experience in dissolution method development, validation, and lifecycle management within the pharmaceutical industry.\nExperience supporting pharmaceutical product development and commercialization.\nExperience supporting regulatory submissions, inspections, investigations, or Health Authority interactions is preferred.\nExperience mentoring, coaching, or leading scientific teams is considered an advantage.\nCompetencies & Knowledge\nStrong understanding of dissolution sciences, biopharmaceutics, and in vitro release methodologies.\nKnowledge of global regulatory expectations related to dissolution methods and product-performance assessments.\nExperience working in GMP-regulated environments.\nStrong scientific problem-solving and data-interpretation skills.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams.\nAbility to challenge existing approaches and drive continuous improvement.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nPassion for scientific innovation and advancing
