Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech\n\nWe are searching for the best talent for: SR Customs Analyst\nPurpose: Is responsible to coordinate, supervise, plan, participate and/or support in all import/export operations in order to comply with all requirements and general objectives of the plants related to Campus activities.\nYou will be responsible for :\nRepresents the Company in all Customs matters related to Mexico\nCustoms and other Government agencies in Mexico.\nEnsures and anticipates compliance of Mexico Government\nrequirements/Review changes and analyzes impact related to Customs\nLaws and regulations ensuring the correct implementation.\nEnsures compliance with Internal Customs yearly forecast as well\nas financial analysis and reports related to budget.\nAnalyze, review and control import/export balances and\nreconciliation of customs documents versus perpetual records\nEnsures that all applicable permits and licenses are transacted in a timely\nand accurate manner.\nEnsures that all Certificates of Origin are completed in a timely and accurate\nmanner.\nAnalyze all the BOM’s to determine the origin of products and update the\nCustoms System database.\nEnsures FDA Codes are in place, when required for articles to be\nimported to US.\nFDA data loading into Customs System.\nRequest and control the Chain of Custody letters for the FDA. Determine\nrecommended tariff classification for all merchandise for US and Mexico Customs\n Coordinate with US Broker resolution for any situation that may affect the\noperation of the company.\nUpdates data in Customs System (Customs System).\nConducts periodic audits/reviews of information loaded or\nupdated into Customs System (Customs System).\nEnsures implementation of changes related to SAAI and SQL at\nCustoms System (Customs System).\nEnsures procurement of department supplies and resources.\nProvides training as needed to Customers and Associates.\nEnsures proper record keeping and archiving of customs documents\naccording to regulations and J and J policies and procedures.\nPerforms the necessary actions and coordinates timely and secure\nflow of new product lines and transfers.\nCoordinates external audits of Customs department activities.\nContinuous review and update of internal controls and requirements\nrelated to International business operations of the Company.\nFollows all company safety policies and other safety precautions within\nthe work area. Ensures compliance with Environmental Management\nSystem (EMS) responsibilities.
