Complete corrective, preventive maintenance on all utilities equipment\nResponsibilities:\nOperating engineer\nOperate and maintain the utility plant, including, but not limited to: Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Reverse Osmosis, WFI Stills, Clean Steam Generators, Air Compressors, Air Handling Units, Refrigeration, Waste Neutralization, Clean-In-Place systems, handle chemicals as needed, and are the first responders to off-shift manufacturing and electrical systems problems.\nInterpret and respond to Alarms.\nEnsure compliant accurate, and timely completion of corrective, emergency, and preventive maintenance\nMonitor equipment operating conditions, takes logs, interprets log readings and takes action as needed.\nParticipates in cleaning, adjusting, testing, and performing preventive maintenance.\nCan identify issues and implement improvements with mentorship from shop leader and supervisor.\nParticipate in departmental or multi-functional projects.\nPerforms repairs on equipment with limited mentorship.\nDevelops awareness of all departmental operations\nCarries out all duties in compliance with all company, state and federal laws and regulatory agency guidelines.\nEnsures regulatory and job training remains current by promptly completing required training.\nParticipate in PM development and optimization.\nParticipate in Maintenance projects including Root Cause Analysis, FMEA’s, and Non- Conformance investigations.\nDemonstrates willingness to learn new skills.\nUse Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Human Machine Interface (HMI) for supervising and fixing equipment problems.\nPerform general building maintenance including plumbing and pipefitting.\nDocument all maintenance activities in CMMS.\nMaintain and repair mechanical equipment, such as valves, pumps, and utility systems.\nThis is not an extensive or comprehensive listing of job functions.
