As a Senior Endpoint Engineer, you’ll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history.\nUsing advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life-saving technologies - by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.\nThe role:\nAs a Infrastructure Operations Engineer, you will help drive our goals by:\nTo support infrastructure remotely and work with cross-cultural team\nTo work with JM employees and other external organisations to complete projects\nTo perform Microsoft monthly patching activities for all servers\nTo take part in the Major Incident Management process, which may mean out of hours participation in incident resolution and service restoration.\nTo support L3 teams in updating documentations and keep it up to date in line with JM standards and policies. \nTo analyse, troubleshooting and implementing approved and standardized resolutions. \nTo carry out any other duties within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed \nRequirements for the role:\n Able to work shift (24x5) and based in the office and standby occasionally on weekends\nHolder of a recognised IT qualification\nOperational experience in virtualization e.g. VMWare, Windows Server OS, Cloud Computing e.g Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS). Additional knowledge in Linux (RHEL & SUSE) would be added advantage.\nOperational experience in Veeam, PowerShell preferably in a Level 2 role providing day to day operational support.\nGood experience in performing Microsoft monthly patching activity.\nAwareness of ITIL principles\nWorking knowledge of planning, installation, on-going management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of IT services and technologies.\nYou will be required to be able to operate in rotation for EMEA hours.\nEven if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!\nWhat we offer:\nWe make sure salaries are fair, competitive and aligned to individual roles, experience and responsibilities.
