Using advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges, cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life-saving technologies, by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.\nThe role:\nAs a Process Engineer I, you will help drive our goals by:\nSupporting safe, reliable and efficient smelting operations through process engineering expertise and practical problem solving.\nLeading improvement initiatives that enhance process safety, asset performance, automation, throughput and operational reliability.\nDeveloping and maintaining process models that evaluate feed composition, material recirculation and downstream process impacts to support operational decision making.\nUsing plant data, statistical analysis and operational insights to identify opportunities, reduce variability and resolve process constraints.\nDesigning and delivering laboratory, pilot and plant-scale trials, ensuring appropriate risk assessments, approvals and technical documentation are in place.\nCollaborating with Operations, Engineering, EHS, Supply Chain and R&D teams to support commissioning activities, process development and future growth initiatives.\nKey skills that will help you succeed in this role:\nDegree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.\nStrong understanding of process engineering fundamentals, including heat and mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs and process documentation.\nDemonstrated commitment to environmental, health and safety standards, including risk assessment and hazard study methodologies.\nStrong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex process and operational data.\nPractical experience working in laboratory, pilot plant or industrial manufacturing environments.\nAbility to communicate technical information clearly and build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.\nEven if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!\nWhat we offer:\nWe make sure salaries are fair, competitive and aligned to individual roles, experience and responsibilities.
