Backed by advanced technology, lifecycle services and an industry-leading field organization, we elevate customer performance, turn goals into real-world results and help move society forward.\nWhat you will do:\nThis position will be responsible for the installation of complex integrated security systems to include the wiring, equipment and programming of access control systems, CCTV, digital recorders, network recorders, and intercom systems for clients.\nHow you will do it:\nCapable of installing cabling, field equipment & control equipment enclosures in customer locations according to the national electric code, company and customer guidelines.\n\nCan use electronic test equipment to troubleshoot complicated problems during installation.\n\nReads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and operational product manuals.\n\nReadjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation\n\nPerforms system checks for proper operation.\n\nKnowledge of computer programs including word processing, spreadsheets and databases; CCTV and access control systems; media storage.\n\nAbility to plan, organize and prioritize work paying close attention to details.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, while establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.\n\nAbility to analyze information.\n\nCan work unsupervised to complete installation jobs and is self-motivated to complete jobs.\n\nCompletes and submits all necessary paperwork related to job assignments.\n\nCapable of using hand and power tools to properly mount and secure equipment\n\nFeed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls to reach fixture outlets; then position and terminate cables, wires and strapping\n\nDrill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, and floors.\n\nConduct End- User training.\n\nAbility to isolate trouble to a customer network, where applicable\n\nWhat we look for:\nRequired\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent.\n\nSignificant background (5+ years) with Commercial Fire Alarm Systems, Commercial Digital & Analog Camera Systems and/ or Commercial Access Control Systems.\n\nUnderstanding of the function and design of Alarm Systems.\n\nExperience with IP addressable security devices (2+ years).\n\nMust be computer literate to include advanced TCP/IP networking skills.\n\nRequired to participate in After-Hour On-Call Rotation\n\nMust be able to operate a company truck with an acceptable driving record.\n\nIs proficient with all aspects and operation of ADT A.I. core card access, CCTV systems.\n\nProficient with NFPA Code and National electric Code (NEC)\n\nPreferred\nAssociate Degree or 2-year technical school program graduate preferred.\n\nAn industry-recognized apprentice training program may be substituted for the formal education requirement.\n\nNICET I, II or III\n\nAny Town Fire Alarm Listed Agent Certifications\n\nAccess Control (at least 3 certifications from the following):\nProwatch\n\nKantech Access\n\nC-Cure 800 or C-Cure 9000\n\nCasi- Facility Commander or Picture Perfect or Secure Perfect\n\nCCTV- Analog (at least 1 certification from the following)\nBosch\n\nAdemco/Honeywell Security\n\nDSC\n\nDMP Security / Access / Fire\n\nFire Lite\n\nNotifier\n\nGamewell / FCI\n\nEdwards\n\nSimplex / AutoCall\n\nPelco\n\nAmerican Dynamics\n\nCisco\n\nCCTV- IP (at least 1 certification from the following)\nGenetec - Access / CCTV\n\nIndigo Vision\n\nSpeco CCTC\n\nExaqvision\n\nVisitor Management (experience in any of the following preferred)\nHoneywell Lobby Works\n\nStopware\n\nAccess Sentry\n\nAIPHONE\n\nAdditional experience a plus: MCSE, CCNA, Surveillance Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems and Security Gate Operators.\nHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $29.00-38.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
