Develops complex software programs, commissioning and troubleshooting to ensure proper operations of the building control system.\nProvide detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, Johnson Controls field installation team and subcontractors.\nHow will you do it\nDesigns and configures are technically HVAC complex building control systems as defined by the contract documents. Creates flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts and electrical schematics as required.\n\nDevelop and tests software programs necessary to operate the system per the project requirements' intent.\n\nCoordinates and creates necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.\n\nSelects, orders, and tracks the delivery of materials for assigned projects.\n\nCoordinates factory-mounting processes to meet factory and project schedule.\n\nAssists in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required.\n\nAssists in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoots problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.\n\nProvides field change information to the project team for the creation of as-built drawings and software.\n\nKeeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.\n\nAssists in performing site-specific training for owner / operator on the total building control system.\n\nParticipates in the release meeting with project field team.\n\nPerforms value engineering to provide cost effective results while maintaining customer satisfaction.\n\nMay provide work directions to Systems Design Assistants.\n\nAdheres to safety standards.\n\nHigh degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety\n\nWhat we look for\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 3 years' experience\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of the construction or HVAC industry.\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems.\n\nDemonstrated experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols (i.e., LON, BACnet, etc.).\n\nAbility to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.\n\nDemonstrated advanced computer skills required, particularly computer-related drafting tools.\n\nHiring Compensation Range: $71K -$108K USD Annual. (Annual rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
