The Commercial Installer also dismantles and reconstructs equipment when necessary.\nHow you will do it\nInstalls appropriate devices; dismantles and reconstructs equipment as required by customer or Tyco Integrated Security. \nWorks safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.\nContacts customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.\nPrepares estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor.\nFollow proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.\nTests operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.\nReads building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required.\nCoordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.\nMay manage installation teams on larger projects.\nCoach and mentor less experienced installers. \nWhat we look for\nRequired\nA high school diploma or GED\nSome technical school training is a plus. \nAbility to read blueprints and schematic drawings.\nAbility to operate hand and power tools.\nAbility to operate fleet vehicle in a safe manner at all times.\nAbility to communicate and provide excellent customer service. \nHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $19.00 - 25.09 Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
