Most importantly, you demonstrate integrity, accountability, and sound judgment, approaching your work with a strong sense of ownership and a commitment to supporting the organization's financial health and long-term success.\nResponsibilities\n*Responsibilities are subject to change based on shifting business needs\nPrepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.\n\nPerform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.\n\nReconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet accounts.\n\nPrepare and record journal entries.\n\nAnalyze financial data and investigate variances.\n\nEnsure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.\n\nAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.\n\nSupport internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.\n\nReview accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset transactions for accuracy.\n\nMaintain and improve accounting processes and procedures.\n\nMentor junior accounting staff and provide technical guidance.\n\nCollaborate with departments to resolve accounting issues and improve financial reporting.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n\nCPA designation preferred.\n\n5-8 years of progressive accounting experience.\n\nStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.\n\nExperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\n\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with financial statement preparation.\n\nKnowledge of internal controls and audit procedures.\n\nExperience with budgeting and forecasting.\n\nProcess improvement and automation experience.\n\nLeadership or supervisory experience.\n\nExport Control Requirement:This position may require access to information, technology, technical data, software, or other items subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations.
