We pride ourselves on innovation, quality, and delivering tailored solutions to meet our clients' unique needs.\nSpecific Accountabilities:\nInspect production material as assigned for defects as trained.\nRemove defective items from production, designating the reason for removal.\nReport defects to the appropriate manager.\nPerform internal QA audits that are compliant with corporate policies, practices, and procedures.\nAssist with the maintenance of QA monitoring programs, including audits, controls, and other qualifiers.\nSupport new product development and continuous improvement and by integrating quality control tools (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) into processes.\nPromote and advocate quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.\nEnsure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation.\n Working Conditions:\nThis position requires shop work. When working in the shop, one must exercise caution as this environment presents many naturally-occurring and potentially worker-produced hazards including small or large projectiles, contamination with toxic gasses/liquids, impalement, crushing, electrocution, explosion, immolation, decapitation and asphyxiation.\nSafety policies must be always adhered to. Appropriate personal protective equipment (i.e., safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed boots, and others) must be always worn where required. \nIt is very important that the incumbent of this position can work and communicate with prudence, while effectively managing time, completing tasks, and working safely.\nAble to occasionally lift items.\nAdditional duties as assigned.\nEducation and Experience:\nPost-Secondary Education in an appropriate field or a combination of education and experience preferred.\n1-2 years of electrical experience \nKnowledge of QA methodologies preferred.\nPractical experience with risk management, product testing, capability studies, and control plans.\nTraining and knowledge of Six Sigma techniques and Lean Manufacturing are desirable.\nHighly motivated and self-directed capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.\nExtremely detail-oriented and analytical thinker.\nAble to interface directly with cross-functional teams.\nAbility to manage change on the floor and work well with shift supervisors\nAbility to review technical documentation, including project plans, test procedures, and design documents.\nStrong problem identification and problem resolution skills.\nHigh level of proficiency with Microsoft Office \nStrong work ethic and positive team attitude.\nClear and concise communication ability\nReports to:\nReports to: Team Leader or Manager\nAdditional Comments:\nThis is not an all-inclusive list.
