Parachute

Parachute is a plasma donation company based in Austin, Texas, that operates donor centers where members book 20-minute donation slots through its mobile app and are paid for each visit. Pairing app-based scheduling and payments with hospitality-style centers, it grew from 2 to more than 30 locations in under three years, supplying plasma used in life-saving therapies while offering donors a way to earn extra income. Its centers hire paramedics, emergency medical technicians and licensed practical nurses as physician substitutes responsible for donor health and safety, as well as center quality managers.
