This is a Senior, hands-on role with plenty of opportunity to make your mark. You'll take ownership of our mobile platform, tackle interesting technical challenges and help our engineering teams build and deliver better, faster and more reliably. You'll have a real say in our technical direction, work alongside talented engineers and help shape how we approach mobile development across Timely.\nIf you're passionate about mobile engineering, love solving complex problems and want to make a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you!\nWhat you'll be doing.\nOwn and shape the technical direction of our iOS and Android mobile platforms.\nLead improvements to our mobile architecture, engineering standards and development practices.\nTackle technical debt and platform challenges to make our apps faster, more reliable and easier to maintain.\nWork closely with our mobile and product teams to improve how we build, test and release software.\nBalance platform improvements with product delivery, helping teams move quickly without compromising quality.\nShare your knowledge, guide technical decisions and help our mobile engineers grow.\nSupport critical mobile infrastructure, security and dependency updates across SalonBiz when needed.\nWhat you'll bring.\nStrong hands-on mobile engineering experience across iOS and Android.\nExperience leading technical projects and influencing architecture and engineering decisions.\nA solid understanding of mobile platform architecture, performance, reliability and security.\nThe ability to spot technical challenges, prioritise improvements and find practical solutions.\nConfidence working across engineering and product teams, bringing people together to get things done.\nGreat communication skills and a collaborative approach to solving problems.\nA passion for sharing knowledge, mentoring others and continuously improving how things are done.\nResearch shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet ~60% of criteria, women and those in underrepresented groups tend to only apply when they check every box.
