Our MembersFirst team designs and builds the member-facing websites and portals those clubs use every day. We take our projects and our clients seriously, but not ourselves.\nAs an Interactive Web Designer, you'll own the look and feel of a website from the first client kick-off all the way to launch. You'll design mockups and prototypes in Figma, code them out in a local development environment, then tokenize them so they run inside the MembersFirst CMS, our proprietary content management system. You'll lead design meetings with clients and work closely with other designers, front-end developers, implementation specialists and client support.\nWe're looking for someone who raises their hand, welcomes feedback, and keeps looking for a faster, better way to work, including with AI tools.\nWhat you'll do\nLead client design meetings. Run discovery and review sessions with club stakeholders. Clarify their goals, gather input, and present your work with confidence.\nDesign in Figma. Create responsive desktop, tablet and mobile mockups and interactive prototypes for websites and CMS modules.\nCode it out. Build your designs in HTML, CSS and JavaScript in a local development environment.\nTokenize for the CMS. Convert finished code into reusable templates and tokens that work inside the MembersFirst CMS.\nAdvise. Give clients and teammates clear, expert recommendations on design, usability, and accessibility.\nManage your projects. Run several projects at once, track progress in our project management tools, and keep internal stakeholders updated on status.\nImprove how we work. Find ways to speed up the path from mockup to launch, including AI-assisted design and coding, and share what you learn with the team.\nWhat you bring\nMust have\n3+ years of professional web design and front-end development experience\nA portfolio showing responsive websites you designed and built\nAdvanced Figma skills: components, auto layout, variants and prototyping\nStrong HTML, CSS and JavaScript, plus an understanding of how browsers render and behave\nA strong eye for layout, colour, typography and visual hierarchy\nWorking knowledge of usability, UX and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)\nConfidence leading client meetings and explaining design decisions in plain language\nExcellent time management: you hit deadlines across several projects without losing attention to detail\nClear, concise written communication\nHow you work\nYou raise your hand. You volunteer for new challenges and jump in when a teammate needs help.\nYou welcome feedback. You give and receive critique openly, and use it to make the work better.\nYou collaborate. You work well with designers, developers, and project managers, and you communicate before you're asked.\nYou're always getting faster.
