This is a strategic management position responsible for aligning technology with business objectives while strengthening governance, developing future leaders, and ensuring the organization continues to scale through sound operational practices rather than dependence on individual contributors. The successful candidate will lead technology strategy, organizational governance, compliance, operational leadership, and organizational development while working closely with senior leadership to build the next generation of B4Checkin's technology organization. This role is ideally suited to a leader who enjoys building organizations, developing people, and establishing practical governance that enables innovation while protecting the long-term interests of the business.\nCompensation & Role Details:\nExpected Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is between $75,000 to $85,000 CAD , depending on experience and qualifications\nRole Type: New Role\nAI Disclosure: AI may be used during the hiring process.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPartner with senior leadership on technology strategy.\nAlign technology initiatives with business objectives.\nEstablish long-term technology direction.\nRepresent technology at the senior management level.\nLead governance, policy, and standards.\nOversee technology risk management.\nMaintain regulatory and contractual compliance.\nImprove change management and organizational accountability.\nSupport internal and external audit activities.\nDevelop leadership capability across the technology organization.\nDefine organizational structure and responsibilities.\nImprove communication and collaboration.\nEstablish succession planning.\nBuild a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Equivalent senior leadership experience will be considered.\n3-5 years of experience with technologies and practices such as: Microsoft Azure, Enterprise cloud architecture, Cybersecurity, Identity and access management, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Modern Infrastructure, AI governance, ITSM, Enterprise Architecture.
