Started in 1986 as a family business growing steadily year on year prior to be acquired by Vesta Software Group in January 2026.\nThe Junior Technical Sales & Projects Coordinator supports the preparation of quotations for gas detection systems, assists The Project Co-ordinator and AutoCAD team which includes project documentation and technical information.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within technical sales, project coordination, and engineering support. The successful candidate will receive mentoring and structured training to develop their understanding of Stage 3 and Stage 4 design processes, technical documentation, and gas detection system layouts. Previous AutoCAD experience is preferred but can be further developed within the role.\nKey Responsibilities\nSales & Quotation Management\nPrepare quotations for gas detection systems and associated products.\n\nReview customer specifications, drawings, and tender documentation.\n\nSupport the preparation of technically compliant and commercially competitive proposals.\n\nFollow up quotations and assist in converting opportunities into confirmed orders.\n\nMaintain CRM records and quotation pipeline updates.\n\nIdentify opportunities for additional products and services.\n\nContractor & Project Liaison\nSupport communication with contractors, consultants, engineers, and project stakeholders.\n\nAssist in gathering and coordinating technical information for project submissions.\n\nAttend site project meetings where required.\n\nSupport the resolution of technical queries and requests for information.\n\nHelp ensure project documentation is issued accurately and within required timescales.\n\nLearn the requirements and processes associated with Stage 3 and Stage 4 project design deliverables through on-the-job mentoring.\n\nTechnical Drawing & Design Support\nAssist with the production and amendment of AutoCAD drawings for gas detection system layouts.\n\nSupport the review of drawings against project specifications and design requirements.\n\nCoordinate drawing revisions and issue updated documentation.\n\nMaintain drawing registers and document control records.\n\nReceive training and mentoring to progressively develop competency in Stage 3 and Stage 4 design drawings.\n\nPlanning & Coordination\nAssist in planning workloads to meet quotation and project deadlines.\n\nSupport the coordination of multiple enquiries and projects simultaneously.\n\nLiaise with internal departments to obtain required technical and commercial information.\n\nSupport project handovers to installation and commissioning teams.\n\nCustomer Service\nBuild and maintain positive customer relationships.\n\nRespond promptly to customer enquiries.\n\nProvide basic technical product information and support.\n\nEscalate complex technical matters to senior team members when required.\n\nKey Competencies\nTechnical\nInterest in technical products and engineering solutions.\n\nGas detection systems knowledge (or willingness to learn).\n\nAutoCAD knowledge or experience preferred.\n\nUnderstanding of construction, M&E, or technical drawings desirable.\n\nTechnical quotation preparation and project administration skills.\n\nGood document control and organisational skills.\n\nCommercial\nCustomer-focused approach.\n\nAwareness of sales processes and opportunity management.\n\nAbility to build strong customer relationships.\n\nCommercial awareness and willingness to develop negotiation skills.\n\nPlanning & Organisation\nStrong attention to detail.\n\nGood time management skills.\n\nAbility to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.\n\nStrong organisational and coordination abilities.\n\nCommunication\nProfessional communication skills.\n\nConfidence when liaising with customers and contractors.\n\nGood written and verbal communication.\n\nAbility to work effectively with internal teams.\n\nBusiness Unit:\nPollution MonitorsScheduled Weekly Hours:\n35Number of Openings Available:\n1Worker Type:\nRegularCareer Site:\nMore About Jonas Software:\nJonas Software is a leading provider of enterprise management software solutions, serving a wide range of vertical markets including hospitality, healthcare, construction, education, personal care, fitness, leisure, moving and legal services, to name a few.
