Our unified, contextual activity timeline brings reservations, point-of-sale and food and beverage, billing and finance, events, member services and reporting into one secure platform that enables seamless interactions between members, staff and the broader club community.\nPOSITION\nThe Payments Implementation Specialist is responsible for leading the successful onboarding, implementation, and deployment of payment processing solutions for new and existing clients. This role reports to the Manager of Jonas Club Payments and works closely with Project Managers to keep implementations moving and clients set up for long-term success, as well as cross-departmentally with the Sales, Support, Product/Development teams.\nThe ideal candidate will be extremely self-motivated, collaborative, client-focused, and have a demonstrated ability to set priorities. You have strong project coordination skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of payment processing, merchant onboarding, card-present and card-not-present transactions, ACH/EFT processing, payment gateways, hardware deployment, and payment industry best practices.\nYou'll own each implementation from kickoff through go-live: gathering requirements, configuring the system to match how our clients operate, and coordinating everyone who needs to be involved. You're comfortable being the person clients rely on to keep things on track, and you take pride in a smooth, well-run implementation, able to step in and steer any situation to make that a reality.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nOwn each implementation from kickoff through go-live, keeping clubs on track to complete onboarding within our standard timeline\nConduct Pre-Implementation and Implementation kickoff meetings and establish project timelines and milestones.\nAct as the primary client contact throughout the onboarding and implementation process.\nCoordinate with internal, client, and partner resources to ensure timely project completion.\nCreate and manage implementation schedules, risks, dependencies, and escalations.\nProvide regular project status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.\nFacilitate implementation readiness reviews and go-live planning activities.\nCoordinate merchant account onboarding and processor setup activities.\nCoach clients through the collection, validation, and tracking of required merchant documentation.\nEnsure proper configuration of payment processing environments and credentials.\nSupport Online Payments, PAP, POS, Hotel, and MPOS implementations.\nMonitor onboarding progress and proactively address delays or issues.\nCoordinate payment integration activities between customers, internal technical teams, and third-party vendors.\nAssist clients with gateway configuration, testing, and certification requirements.\nSupport deployment of payment devices, terminals, and associated hardware.\nFacilitate end-to-end testing, validation, and production cutover activities.\nEnsure implementation requirements align with documented product capabilities and client expectations.\nBuild strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.\nManage implementation-related inquiries and provide timely resolution of issues.\nConduct client training sessions and product walkthroughs as needed.\nEnsure clients understand implementation timelines, requirements, and dependencies.\nProvide white-glove service during critical implementations and migrations.\nIdentify implementation risks and proactively develop mitigation plans.\nCoordinate resolution of onboarding, integration, funding, settlement, or processor-related issues.\nEscalate critical client concerns appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution.\nPartner with Support and Product teams to address implementation challenges.\nDocument lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nMaintain detailed implementation documentation and project records.\nDevelop and update implementation playbooks, procedures, and best practices.\nIdentify opportunities to improve onboarding efficiency and client experience.\nContribute to implementation metrics, reporting, and operational dashboards.\nParticipate in recurring reviews of implementation performance and customer feedback.\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS:\n3+ years of experience in implementation, project coordination, client onboarding, or customer success.\nExperience working within the payments, fintech, banking, software, or technology industries.\nStrong understanding of payment processing concepts, including credit card processing, ACH/EFT transactions, payment gateways, merchant account onboarding, settlement and funding processes, and payment hardware and terminals.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong organizational and multitasking abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience working with CRM, project management, and ticketing systems.\nProficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint.\nExperience with payment processors such as Elavon, Worldpay, Shift4, Fiserv, Global Payments, or similar providers.\nFamiliarity with PCI DSS requirements and payment security best practices.\nExperience supporting software integrations, APIs, or payment gateways.\nProject management certification (CAPM, PMP, Agile, or similar).\nExperience implementing payment solutions within hospitality, club, retail, or SaaS environments.\nKnowledge of merchant pricing, interchange, and payment operations.\nBusiness Unit: \nClubhouse OnlineScheduled Weekly Hours:\n37.5Number of Openings Available: \n1Worker Type: \nRegularMore About Jonas Software:\nJonas Software is a leading provider of enterprise management software solutions, serving a wide range of vertical markets including hospitality, healthcare, construction, education, personal care, fitness, leisure, moving and legal services, to name a few.
