This role is responsible for managing project scope, timeline, budget, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with strategic organizational objectives. The Project Manager will work cross-functionally with product development, engineering, operations, finance, and executive leadership to deliver solutions on time and within budget.\nThis role requires experience using AI tools to accelerate the management, tracking, and delivery of technical development, as well as the commercialization of new software initiatives, not just familiarity with AI in the abstract.\nThis is a full-time position reporting directly to the President of the company.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Planning and Execution\nDevelop, implement, and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.\nDefine project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.\nLead project kickoffs, regular status meetings, post-project reviews, and the swift execution of action items.\nTrack project progress and deliverables through established project management tools and reporting systems.\nStrategic Planning and Performance Execution\nPartner with the President on strategic planning for our cloud growth initiatives and select on-premise innovation initiatives, translating strategic priorities into executable plans with clear ownership and timelines, assisting with on-time delivery within targeted budgets.\nTrack execution against strategic milestones, not just project tasks, surfacing where performance is falling behind intent and driving corrective action.\nContribute to the commercial and business planning view of key initiatives, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Sales to connect technical delivery to business outcomes.\nBudget and Financial Oversight\nEstablish and manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting variances.\nEnsure all project expenditures align with approved budgets and company financial policies.\nProvide quarterly budget summaries and variance analyses to leadership.\nIdentify and operationalize opportunities for enhanced financial performance.\nCommunication and Reporting\nServe as the central point of contact for project related communication across departments.\nPrepare and present regular progress reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership review.\nFacilitate quarterly strategic reviews, providing updates on project status, key milestones, risks, and opportunities.\nProactively engage with customers and prospects to solicit feedback on offerings and stimulate demand.\nRisk and Issue Management\nProactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing mitigation and contingency plans.\nEscalate critical issues promptly and facilitate resolution with appropriate stakeholders.\nContinuous Improvement\nContribute to the refinement of project management processes, tools, and best practices.\nAnalyze project outcomes to identify lessons learned and opportunities for future improvement.\nQualifications\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor's degree required, in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. An MBA, or equivalent business experience translating technical execution into strategic and business outcomes, is considered a strong advantage.\n5+ years of experience managing cloud, software product development, or technical projects preferred.\nExperience working in a cross-functional team environment with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nPrior experience working in healthcare foodservice operations or bedside nutrition management is an advantage.\nSkills and Competencies\nExperience using AI tools and workflows to accelerate the planning, tracking, and delivery of technical development initiatives, and to support the commercialization of new technologies from early development through go-to-market execution, is required for this role.\nStrong understanding of cloud and software product development life cycles.\nProven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.\nExcellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.\nProficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar tools.\nFluency in technical software development terminology and tasks at a high level.\nPMP or similar certification preferred.\nPerformance Metrics\nTimely delivery of project milestones.\nBudget adherence within approved tolerances.\nScope management and change control effectiveness.\nStrategic milestone achievement and alignment between technical delivery and business outcomes.\nStakeholder satisfaction and cross-functional collaboration.\nThis is a full-time position, ideal for someone self-motivated, dependable, and stable.\nIf you feel you are the team player we are looking for, please submit your resume and a one-page letter stating why you believe you are the right candidate.
