We're creative partners to teams across JKR, from those shaping a brand's expression to those creating its experiences. Where a project needs it, we bring in and work with the best specialists in the industry, from film production to sonic branding. We're always exploring new creative technologies and want to be at the forefront of what they make possible.\nWe're looking for a Motion Editor who understands brands as well as they understand a timeline. You can cut a hero film that makes people feel something, then turn it into content that works on every platform. You animate as confidently as you edit and you bring your own point of view to every project.\nReports to: Creative Director - Motion\nRequirements\nThis is a role for an editor who doesn't fit in one box. One week you might be cutting a brand film from shoot footage. The next you're building a campaign's worth of social content or finding the story in a pile of archive.\nYou'll shape how footage, motion and sound come together for our clients. You'll lead the edit on projects, work closely with designers and animators across JKR and collaborate with the directors, production companies and sound studios we bring in. You'll also help shape how editing works within the team as it grows.\nWhat you'll be doing\nCutting brand films and campaign content with real emotional pull\nCreating cutdowns that are made for each format and platform, not just shortened\nAnimating within your edits, from type and graphics to full motion sequences\nSelecting and editing music, and layering sound to support the picture\nFinding the story in footage when there's no script to follow\nMaking sure every edit feels true to the client's brand\nWorking with external directors, production companies and sound studios\nPresenting your edits and the thinking behind them\nSupporting and guiding more junior members of the team\nWho we're looking for\nYou're a storyteller first. You know how pace, music and a well-placed cut can change how someone feels. You understand how a brand identity works and enjoy working within one as much as pushing it. You're as happy cutting a six-second social asset as a two-minute film and you bring the same care to both.
