This role involves monitoring mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, responding to emergency situations, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring optimal building performance while maintaining a safe environment for occupants.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperations & Monitoring\nMonitor and operate building management systems (BMS/HVAC controls)\nConduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems\nPerform routine equipment checks and log readings\nMonitor energy consumption and optimize system efficiency\nRespond to building automation alarms and system alerts\nMaintenance & Repairs\nExecute preventive maintenance programs according to schedules\nPerform minor repairs and troubleshooting on building equipment\nCoordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs\nMaintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation\nManage spare parts inventory and procurement\nSafety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations\nConduct safety inspections and risk assessments\nRespond to emergency situations (fire alarms, power outages, equipment failures)\nMaintain fire safety systems and emergency equipment\nSupport regulatory inspections and audits\nTenant/Occupant Support\nRespond to tenant service requests and complaints\nCoordinate access for maintenance and contractor work\nCommunicate effectively with building occupants regarding planned maintenance\nProvide technical support for building-related issues\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation & Certifications\nTechnical diploma or degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field\nRelevant trade certifications (electrical, mechanical, HVAC)\nBuilding management system certifications preferred\nFirst Aid/CPR certification\nLocal licensing requirements as applicable\nExperience\n3-5 years of experience in building operations or facilities maintenance\nExperience with commercial building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)\nKnowledge of building automation systems\nPrevious experience in property management or facilities services preferred\nTechnical Skills\nProficiency in building management systems (BMS)\nUnderstanding of mechanical and electrical systems\nBasic computer skills and facility management software\nAbility to read technical drawings and schematics\nKnowledge of energy management principles\nSoft Skills\nStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities\nExcellent communication and customer service skills\nAbility to work independently and manage priorities\nFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays\nPhysical capability to perform manual tasks and work in various building environments\nWorking Conditions\nPrimarily indoor work environment\nOccasional exposure to mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces\nMay require 24/7 on-call availability\nShift work may be required (days, evenings, weekends)\nPhysical demands include lifting, climbing, and extended periods of standing/walking\nLocation:\nOn-site -Pune, MHScheduled Weekly Hours:\n48If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
